Sorry it’s been over a week since I posted but I just haven’t had a thing to say. I know that seems strange for me but really it’s the truth!! Holly is doing great, saying more and more every single day. It’s so great to be able to communicate with her but there are still times when we don’t know what she’s saying. One thing she continues to say to us is “merry christmas”. I think it’s so cute when she says it. She obviously has no idea what it means, but she’s only 2 and that’s what makes it cute. One of my layouts has been published in a scrapbook magazine. I found out back in August. You can read that thread here. This is something that I’ve been wanting and waiting for a LONG time. If it never happens again, I will be happy that it happened once. But of course I will continue to try for future publications. My copy of the magazine finally arrived yesterday. I really think I was the last one to receive a copy because I wanted it so bad. I was so happy, almost starting jumping up and down again screaming, but Holly was napping so I couldn’t. They choose my layout titled “10 Think I Love About You” for their section titled “What I love about you”…

I guess you could say that Holly is potty trained. She wears her big girl undies all day except when we go out, then she puts on a pull up even though she doesn’t want to. Until she get’s better at it, I feel better if she has a pull up on. She is even going on the Big Potty and we are so proud, but mommy has to hold her because she is afraid she’ll fall in. She’s doing great and doesn’t even wet her pull up most of the time when she has it on. The only time she does is if she is sleeping, but I know that will get better. We are so proud of her, she caught on really quickly…

I’m sure you’ve all seen The Big Toy Book that Toy’s R Us put out every year?? Well it arrived in this weekends paper and we kept it for our Christmas shopping. I was showing Steve a few things in the book and when I left it on the couch, Holly grabbed and and began to look through and make her ‘list’. It was the cutest thing, she just kept turning page after page and saying “Dora, Boots”….I had to snap some pictures. I guess this is just the first year of many that she’ll grab that book and make her list.

Holly absolutely LOVES her daddy. She gets so excited when he comes home from work every day. After dinner daddy usually sits down to watch tv for a little bit and that’s usually Holly’s opportunity to play with him and climb all over him. One night last week she loaded a bunch of stuffed animals on top of daddy and then climbed on top of him too and did a little cuddling. It was so sweet I had to snap a picture. So glad I caught that moment….. My little fishes swimming this past weekend….
