A trip to the mall….

Tonight my little girl turned into the cutest little Lady Bug!!! She LOVED trick or treating so much. She wouldn’t say trick or treat to the people at the door, but she did say thank you and bye bye to each one of them. We took her to about 12 houses and she had a GREAT TIME. So much she didn’t want to stop. It was cute. We are glad she enjoyed it, though at first she was a little confused as to what was going on, but she caught on pretty fast. Holly has this new thing..she puts both hands over her ears. I’m really not sure why she does it…is she trying to block out the sound? Does she really NOT want to hear mommy’s beautiful singing voice?? I don’t see why she’d want to block that out but perhaps she does. Or did she just realized that it sounds funny when she puts her hands over her ears? I’ll never know but she sure looks cute doing it! What do you think?? While I cleaned the bathroom yesterday, Holly planted herself right outside the bathroom door and played with her pig. I thought it was so cute. We had a nice LONG Easter weekend that began on Thursday when our friends arrived. Jodi and Lil David came to spend a few days with Holly and I because Steve was going on a trip (A trip that once again didn’t happen LOL). Holly and David were SO EXCITED when they saw each other, it was so adorable. They really are buddies and enjoy each other. They had a great time and played so well together, even better than I expected! Holly’s has had some issues recently with sharing so I expected a problem, but she did so well, we had a few issues but nothing like I imagined. Yesterday we went for our big ultrasound where they see the baby’s development and can usually tell the sex but this baby did NOT want to be seen! It stayed in the same position, head down, belly down, the entire time we were there. She couldn’t even see everything she wanted to see, let alone between it’s legs. We were both very disappointed, not just that we couldn’t find out if we were having a boy or a girl, but just that she could not confirm that everything is going well. The heartbeat was great…….love hearing the sound of it!!! It was nice and fast, just like it should be and we got to see an arm and a leg (barely) and a few other…

We got a LOT of snow today. Holly was so excited. It was supposed to start in the morning but it didn’t begin until about 1pm. Holly took a short nap and when I woke her it was snowing and she was so excited. We put on her old snow suit (she is getting a new one for Christmas but don’t tell her that) and her rain boots because she didn’t like the way the new boots fit her, and out in the snow we went! She wanted to use her sled but there wasn’t enough snow to sled but she had fun anyways………….as you can see! These pictures were taken after only a few hours of snow, we got much more, you’ll see tomorrow….

Got another digital page done. Lovin these sketches from Gina Miller Designs, makes my life easier!! OK, I know I did another orange page, I’ll try to do another color next time. LOL I have a tendency to almost always match my papers to the dominate color in the picture. I think I should let that go sometimes but I seem to do it all the time. Thanks for looking!
