The girls were playing and said they were going to have a picnic. Holly lost interest and found something else to do but only after helping her sister set the table. Allison then proceeded to have her picnic, with Zebra. It was absolutely adorable and I’m so glad I got a picture of it. She is going to love looking back at this someday.
While Jodi was here, we were able to sit down and grab a little scrapbooking time. Wish we could do this more often, but I’ll take what I can get. Most of these pages were inspired by pages done by members of Personal Scrapper Kit Club.I did 6 pages and here are 5 of them. One page I’m holding onto because I need to add something too it. Steve and I thought we’d do some redecorating this week since we have nothing else to do. Oh wait, we are having a baby in a week, what are we thinking?? Oh that’s right we had no choice when the water starting leaking though the ceiling in the dining room and coming up from the cracks in the floor in the basement TV room. That’s right, we had to have them cut holes in our ceiling and pull up our rug downstairs. I forget we had no choice. Can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?? I’m trying to keep a smile on my face through this entire thing but it’s not easy. I just seemed to get the house in pretty good order this…
We had a nice weekend, but it’s nice to get back into what ever normal is in our house. For Christmas Eve, my inlaws, my parents, Uncle Rick and Auntie Connie and our friend Melissa all came for a nice Italian dinner. Not the traditional italian christmas eve of fish and seafood, but my own version of an Italian dinner….Salad, homemade Lasagna, homemade meatballs and sausage, homemade eggplant parm and lots of yummy Italian bread!! What’s an Italian meal with out yummy bread. OH and top that off with a real yummy Italian dessert with lots of cream and friut. I have no idea what it was called but it was good!!! We all enjoyed it very much and we ate way too much, both…
Another dancing Holly video. She loves to dance!! It’s just so cute, and she does it so much throughout the day I enjoy every minute of it. It’s hard to believe that in one week from today she will be 2!!! That’s just amazing. And she is doing so much for a 2 year old, we are very proud of her. How fast the last 2 years went by!!! I’ve been told I am a bad blogger so this post is out of guilt for not blogging for over a week!!! (Hi KIM). It’s been busy with the long weekend, trying to get things done and Holly’s been fighting a cough and up at night for a little bit so her and I have not had a full nights rest for 3 nights. Hopefully she’ll be better soon. Steve’s been fighting a cold and it’s just about gone, and luckily I’ve been feeling pretty good.
