A new look………..

Yesterday we went to the Big E in Springfield Mass with Nana and Papa. The girls had a great time! The weather was perfect for being outside all day too and that made the day very enjoyable. Nana and Papa bought Holly a ‘ride all day’ pass and she really wanted to ride all day. She had a blast! Every ride that she was tall enough for, she went on. She was very brave with a few of them and she made mommy very proud. The height requirement was 36″ and she just made it at 36.5″. We got lucky! I love the summer, but not the heat. We defiently do so much more in the summer than any other time of year. Things we LOVE about summer: 1. POOL When we were looking for a house a pool was NOT a priority and when we found one with it, we figured it was a great bonus. We had no idea how awesome it would be to have a pool. We have a huge yard so right after Steve mows the lawn (on his riding mower) he jumps right into the pool to cool off. Makes mowing more fun. The first summer here we knew the pool was worth it and last year was even better because Holly LOVED the water. I’m hoping she enjoys…

We had Allison’s 1st Birthday Party this past Saturday and we couldn’t of asked for a more perfect day, weather and all. It was beautiful outside and the kids had so much fun. Allison enjoyed the day but got really tired from all the days activities. She was a little bit interested in the gift opening but not interested in the cake. She cried. Part of the reason was because she was hungry and she didn’t know that was food, it didn’t look like her regular food. I’m sure someday cake will be a recognizable food for her but not at 1. Today being her actual birthday, we are going to try the cake thing again so hopefully this time she’ll enjoy it. A few…

Allison is standing a LOT! Just about anything she can pull herself up on, she does. Saturday morning, Steve was holding her while she waited for her bottle and when I gave it to her, I told him he could just sit her down on the floor and she’d hold it all by herself. Well he figured he’d lean her against the couch, sitting down. She did NOT want to sit, she wanted to stand so when he put her down, she wouldn’t bend her legs so here is how he left her. Our First Snow, for this year that is. It snowed today and Holly was so happy. It didn’t really snow last year, nothing that she could play in and the year before she doesn’t remember so today was a fun day! Believe it or not, her snowsuit I bought her last year fits her perfectly, she’s so tiny. So that worked out well since I didn’t buy another one this year. She patiently waited for Allison to go down for her afternoon nap so we could go outside. Here are some pictures of her all bundled up having fun. Her had kept falling over her eyes.
