A new look………..

Happy Monday everyone! I don’t really have much of a post today, just wanted to stop in and say hi. We had a nice weekend, I had the day off on Saturday and went scrapbooking for the day with Jodi. We had a lot of fun and I got a lot of pages done. I haven’t scanned them in yet so I’ll do that tonight and post those tomorrow. It was nice to spend the day with my best friend without any little ones around. But we did miss them, that’s for sure. Steve and Holly had a great day together. They took a ride to the beach and she played in the sand for a little while, it was very cold and windy so…

Allison loves wearing every one’s shoes, I think I’ve mentioned this before. She looks so stinking cute when she wears the pink high heels. Please ignore the pacifier in her mouth, I know she’s almost 2. She only has it at night but we’ve been fighting illness after illness and well… I give in way to easy and why am I explaining myself LOL :). As I was saying, she looks so stinking cute… and she knows it. Of course “Z” got in on the picture. She’s getting more and more attached to him!The shoes are just a tad bit too big for her!

I don’t normally get great pictures of my mother because she hates to smile. She says she doesn’t know ‘how’ too (sorry mom, but you do!). Well I finally got a perfect picture of her and Holly and they are both smiling pefectly!! I scrapbooked it right away and I love how it came out. I found a quote that I thought would be great for this page because there wasn’t really a story to tell about the picture. It says “Grandma’s are mommies with lots of practice”. PERFECT!!

Allison’ turned 4 month’s old on Friday. Can you believe it’s been 4 months already?? I sure can’t. She is getting bigger and bigger each day. Yesterday I went through her closet and took out all her newborn cloths. It was sad, but it had to be done. She’s wearing right now 3-6 months but there are a few of her 0-3 month one piece dresses that still fit so I kept those for a few more weeks. It seems like she is getting very tall. I can’t wait till Thursday for her appointment to find out exactly how much she has grown. I took the monthly picture with the zebra and put them all in a collage to see the difference each month. I bought Holly some watercolors since she LOVES to color so much. After lunch last week, I pulled everything out. I showed her what to do and she immediately caught on and really seemed to enjoy it….until she got some of the paint on her hands. She didn’t like that part. I had to keep wiping off her hands. I told her not to touch the brush so nothing would get on her hands, but she just kept doing it. So funny the things she does understand and the things she doesn’t understand. She made 2 masterpieces and had lots of fun. But I don’t think we’ll be trying finger painting anytime soon! We went to The Big E last week. We love going and…

well, at least for picture taking! I took tons of pictures between Friday and Sunday. Of course I love every one of them…but I’ll just post a few. Friday, after Holly’s bath, I snapped a few pictures of her. When I say a few, I took about 30 of them (hehehe). She just looks so big in these pictures, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have any cloths on, but I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting. How fast did that happen!
