At least while we are home and she isn’t sleeping. That is Holly of course. She is finally potty training and it’s going so well in such a short period of time. A few weeks ago she started going occasionally on the potty at my mom’s house, but not here. Well, last week I started asking her more and more if she wanted to go on the potty and each time her answer was “no mommy, not now, no potty, I too big” Obviously she doesn’t realize that because she is big she needs to go on the potty, she gets confused. How cute is this….. Holly and I spent the day yesterday with Jodi and Baby David. After lunch we took them to the playground. Rather then go in two cars, I put Holly’s carseat in her mini van and went together. I glanced back at the kiddos and saw them holding hands. It was the cutest thing. I had to snap some pictures. They had a blast at the playground. But wore themselves out pretty fast. After that the both fell asleep in the car. So the two mommy’s went to Dunkin drive thru, order some coffees then sat in the parking lot and looked through a scrappin magazine together. It was fun mommy time! We had a nice day. I’m so sad. My camera is broken, and it’s not something the warranty will cover. They say it’s physical damage and the warranty doesn’t cover that. I think that’s silly, when you have small children, the warranty should cover for physical damage. Oh wait, I guess that would on be the warranty for the child, not the camera. Oh well. We could have if fixed, but for double the price of fixing it we can get a brand new one. Why not get one that’s more up to date with the latest features, right? I think that’s what we should do. Steve thinks we should see if we can have it fixed somewhere else for cheaper. I’m going for the new camera route instead. He…

While Jodi was here, we were able to sit down and grab a little scrapbooking time. Wish we could do this more often, but I’ll take what I can get. My baby turns 2 today! I can’t believe how fast the last 2 years have gone by. She’s getting to be a very big girl and talking up a storm and getting into everything………..she’s being a 2 year old.

Holly loves to help mommy around the house. She actually wanted to wash dishes when she saw me doing it the other day. I promised her she could someday and intend to keep that promise! Her thing lately is every night she wants to set the dinner table, so I let her. I give her one thing at a time except for glasses and knives. She puts each plate where they belong, one for daddy, one for mommy and one for Holly. Then we move onto forks, napkins, plastic cups and then whatever extra things need to go on the table for that nights dinner. She loves doing this and she does a great job.
