I haven’t scrapped a page in over a month (not counting digital and a few projects I’m working on). I just couldn’t seem to get the creative juices flowing. Yesterday I finally sat down and started working on some things. 5 layouts later….I’m pretty happy to be back into it. I’m hoping to get more done this week. I have so many pictures so there’s always plenty to do!!! All these pages were done using kits from Personal Scrapper. Here’s what I did…. Thanks for looking!!!

Holly loves to play the knock, knock game. It’s really cute. She will say ‘knock, knock’, I’ll say ‘who’s there’ and then she starts naming all the Backyardigan’s one at a time. It’s really cute. I was finally able to get it on video. Just so you know, the Backyardigan’s names are Pablo, Austin, Tyrone, Tasha and Uniqua. She added a few other people into the mix this time. Enjoy!

Yesterday was Steve’s Birthday. Holly was all excited and told everyone she saw even the guy that came over to look at our roof! LOL. We bought him an ice cream cake, per Holly’s request and had a little party before bed. The girls enjoyed it, well mostly Holly. Tomorrow is Allison’s 1st Birthday! We had her party over the weekend, I will post pictures later. I can’t believe a year has gone by already!

This past week the girls and I went to Mystic with Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents). It was so crowded but we still had a good time. The girls loved it. They went a few weeks ago with Steve but he didn’t have the camera with him but I had it this time. Holly was a little scared at first when she saw the big whales, but she got over that pretty quickly. Allison just looked and smiled at everything. Here are some pictures…. One of my layouts has been published in a scrapbook magazine. I found out back in August. You can read that thread here. This is something that I’ve been wanting and waiting for a LONG time. If it never happens again, I will be happy that it happened once. But of course I will continue to try for future publications. My copy of the magazine finally arrived yesterday. I really think I was the last one to receive a copy because I wanted it so bad. I was so happy, almost starting jumping up and down again screaming, but Holly was napping so I couldn’t. They choose my layout titled “10 Think I Love About You” for their section titled “What I love about you”…

I have been teaching Holly to hold up 2 fingers to show she is Two years old (One more month to go) and also I’ve been trying to catch on video her counting from 1 to 10. It hasn’t been easy, she doesn’t perform on command. We did try one afternoon this past week but all she was interested in was jumping and climbing up the side of the chair. Here she is….
