- When I asked her to pick up her cheerios that spilled on the floor she said to me “I can’t”.
- When I told her it was time to take a bath she said to me “I can’t”.
- When I told her we needed to change her stinky diaper she said to me “I can’t”
- When I asked her to go get her shoes so we could go out she said to me “I can’t”.
- When we got to Nonnie’s house and I asked her to take off her hat and coat she said to me “I can’t”
- When we got home and Daddy asked her to take off her coat she said to him “I can’t”
- When I told her to go get her PJ’s because it was almost bedtime she said to me “I can’t”
OH the JOYS of Toddler hood!! I’m sure this is just a preview of the “pre-teen years” and the “teen years” too.
But she’s still cute, especially when she says to me “I can’t”! But I won’t let her know that I think it’s cute, because then we’ll hear it all the time and she will have won.
Now here is something that she CAN do, brush her teeth….
Just a few more pictures to share from this past weekend.
Holly was dancing and jumping around and I caught her in action. I think she looks so cute in this picture, and happy too.
A nice picture of me and my big girl, if only she’s smile without closing her eyes.
