Allison’s Trip to the Dentist

When Holly was little(er) and I took her to the Dentist for the first time, she completly freaked out. She didn’t want to open her mouth because she was scared they were going to hurt her. We have one of the nicest dental hygenist and she has twins the same age as Holly so she knew exactly how to handle children. But it didn’t work, Holly wanted nothing to do with it. Fast forward 3 years and she still doesn’t like the Dentist and I make Steve take her because she tries to run out of the room. It’s rather amusing and stressful all at the same time. And then there is Allison…………. Allison has always been pretty easy going, not afraid of anything really….
My Baby is 10 Today!

Happy 10th Birthday to my baby girl Allison. I can’t believe she’s 10! I’m so proud of the person she has become. She’s a super smart, loving, empathetic, fun kid that loves gymnastics, makeup, music, MATH and ZEBRAs! I love her imagination and how much she wants to be just like me. The older she gets the more she looks like her daddy and while she’d rather look like me, I’m so glad to have a glimpse of him everyday. I love her to the moon and back and so did her daddy!!! There was nothing more that he wanted than to see her turn 10, 16, 18, 21 and so many more birthdays. But he’s with her every day, I just know it! Happy…
Halloween Bowling Party

I went for my bi-annual scrapbook weekend with Jodi today, even though Steve didn’t seem to pleased that I still went. I just know that if I put it off any longer, it’ll never happen this fall and I really need the weekend away and with my bff Jodi. He’ll be fine because my parents will be around to check on them and even cook dinner all weekend. The girls were invited to a bowling Halloween party so my mom took them. My Surfer Girl and Swimmer Girl

I love these two girls! This is my surfer girl in one of her cute bikini’s….. it has zebra print on it – of course! And my swimmer girl who still dances even in the pool! (please ignore the color of the water, it’s not really green it’s just the reflection from the bottom of the pool! Looks horrible, I know!)
Day Five of Spring Break School Vacation {Birthday Party}

Today was day 5 of the girl’s spring break and the last day (not counting the weekend). To end the week we had a birthday party for Allison at AC Moore. She had her party there last year and loved it so much she asked to go there again. I don’t mind because not only is it affordable, but the staff is great and she can pick her own craft. Before we began, she had them write their name on the table (which was covered with kraft paper) and also to draw a picture. A lot of her friends drew pictures of zebras which I thought was adorable! Boxes and more Boxes……….

We still have boxes. It’s been almost 2 months but the girls rooms still have boxes in them. IT doesn’t look like this anymore.. (Allison popped up from behind a box when I snapped the picture!) ….but the boxes in the back corner that you see in that picture are still not unpacked. The problem is they are full of toys – toys that they probably don’t need since they haven’t played with them in like 3 months considering they were packed up before we moved. Why do they have so many toys? Because I can’t resist myself. I see something they will like and I find a way to get it. In my defense, a lot of the toys are for review on the…

This is the new family. Holly is taking a break from climbing up and down mommy’s hospital bed. The little cap that Allison is wearing has been worn by all 4 of my grandchildren. Jonathan 8 1/2, Kristopher 5, Holly 2 1/2 and Allison at 2 days old. We will now put it to rest until they all have children of their own. My precious FOUR. A very grateful grandmother!
Oh Ang that is so nice about the little cap. That is what I thought but I wasn’t sure. What a nice family picture of Steve, Karen, Holly & Allison. And the picture of Holly laying on the floor is priceless! Congratulations AGain!
