Wow I can’t believe that it’s January again!!! Each year seems to go by faster and faster the older I get. And now that I have a child, I can defiently see how fast time goes by, it’s amazing how big Holly is getting. She’s no longer a baby and it shows through every single day. She is saying so much, and so well too. Every week she is adding more and more words to her vocabulary it’s amazing! I need to work on Potty training a little bit more and see if it’s possible to get her trained before baby comes along, but I’m not sure if it will happen, but I’ll try. It would be nice to only have 1 in diapers, but…

She sat on Santa’s lap!!! I was so excited, more than she was. This is her 3rd Christmas and I finally got her to sit on his lap. I’m so proud of her. We met Lil David and Jodi at the mall yesterday and when we walked in, Santa was the first place we saw. At first Holly got shy and looked away when Santa waved hi. But after a little while she wanted to go up to see him, and play with the stuff that was there around him. Sunday we Baptized Allison and she looked so beautiful. She’s 4 month’s old this week, I can’t believe how fast the time is going by. She’s sleeping through the night, most nights….sucking her thumb…..rolling onto her belly from her back and today she rolled back onto her back from her belly. She’s getting so big so fast, I just wish I could slow it down!!! This week she’ll also be starting rice cereal. OH MY my baby is getting so big!!!

Last night Steve was taking pictures of me, every few weeks I get a belly shot so I can later scrapbook my progress. Anyways, Holly wanted to be in the picture, of course I did not mind at all. And then I had to get a kiss in, love kissing those cheeks!!! And we had to get a picture with daddy too. Oh how we love this little girl!!!!

Holly turned 18 months last week. Amazing how fast that went by. She went for her 18 month checkup yesterday and did great. She still wasn’t to crazy about getting weighed (which I can’t blame her) but she did much better than she did at 15 months. She weighs 22lbs and is 31 1/4 inches tall. Perfect! She was a wild women in the exam room. She was all over the place running, jumping, spinning, laughing, talking etc. The doctor was very impressed with all of her. She’s so funny!! She didn’t like the 2 shots she got and she pulled the band aid right off, but after it was done, it was done. Here’s a few pictures from last week, she’s figured out how…

Today was my nephew Jonathan’s 1st communion. We ended up getting there a little late because Holly hasn’t been feeling well and we wanted to make sure she had her nap before we left. We didn’t miss much, but I didn’t get to see him walk in. He looked so grown up though! Where did the time go (just like my post the other day). It seems like it was just yesterday we were there, in the same church christening him (he’s my god child too) and now he’s making his 1st communion. Unbelievable!!!
