Holly is so funny when I take out the camera lately. Sometimes she hams it up and other times she gets a serious and focuses on something like she’s trying to ignore me. It’s just too cute! I’m so glad I get to spend my days with her and enjoy all these moments. It’s so amazing to watch her develop and grow right before my eyes. And boy is she growing fast! I can’t believe that in 11 days she’ll be 17 months old. How fast did that go by?? Everyone told me it would be fast but boy they didn’t tell me HOW fast. I love this age (except for the mini temper tantrums, but we are working on that). She understands so much…

Allison has discovered that she can get herself up onto the couch, Holly’s rocking chair, the Dora chairs (though she topples over in those quite often) and now she’s trying to get onto the dining room chairs. She can’t quite do it yet, but she’s trying. I helped her up yesterday morning and we sat together for a while. I was able to get some really cute pictures of her. She was still in her pajama’s but she looked adorable, of course. She grabbed the phone off the table and began pushing the buttons and ‘talking’ on the phone. She doesn’t really have any words yet, I have heard her say something that sounds like Hello a few times, but that doesn’t stop her from…

Allison is standing a LOT! Just about anything she can pull herself up on, she does. Saturday morning, Steve was holding her while she waited for her bottle and when I gave it to her, I told him he could just sit her down on the floor and she’d hold it all by herself. Well he figured he’d lean her against the couch, sitting down. She did NOT want to sit, she wanted to stand so when he put her down, she wouldn’t bend her legs so here is how he left her. I haven’t scrapped a page in over a month (not counting digital and a few projects I’m working on). I just couldn’t seem to get the creative juices flowing. Yesterday I finally sat down and started working on some things. 5 layouts later….I’m pretty happy to be back into it. I’m hoping to get more done this week. Yesterday Holly and I went to the play area at the Waterford Mall with her friend Chloe and Chloe’s mom Cara. It was so much fun! Holly had a blast! I tried taking lots of pictures but most of them didn’t come out to well, she was moving way to fast for me. The minute I took her out of her carriage she was off and and just started running around with a HUGE smile on her face. There were a lot of kids there, mostly bigger than her so it was a little crazy because they weren’t being very careful of the little ones. But Holly and Chloe did fine on their own.
