I can’t belive I forgot to post this layout. It was my favorite one!!! I scraplift this from Jodi….the ribbon’s accross the page were here original design and I loved it. These pictures are also from my collection of favorite pictures of Holly. I do have one more page I did last weekend, but I found a BIG typo on it so I need to fix that before I post it. Thanks for looking!
The gals on Personal Scrapper have posted a Blog challenge to help us blog more often. The first challenge is to post a favorite photo and why it’s our favorite. Now those of you that know me, know I take a TON of pictures. As a matter of fact since Holly was born I’ve taken over 7760 pictures. Pretty crazy, I know but when you have a digital camera it’s so easy to just keep snapping. Anyways, it’s very hard for me to pick one picture that’s my favorite but when thinking about it, this is the first one that comes to mind. It isn’t only a favorite picture of mine, but also a favorite moment….. This picture was taken the morning after Holly was…
We had a really nice weekend, and it’s not even over yet. Monday is our bonus day. It’s started off good on Friday when Steve took a half a day off. It was nice to have him home again after being gone on his trip. Allison had her 1 month doctor’s appointment so Steve and Holly hung out together at home and me and Allison went to the doctors. She did great. She weighs 8lbs 10oz and is 21 inches long. So she gained an inch since birth (which didn’t surprise me at all) and she’s a little over a pound from birth which is perfect. Everything else checked out good and her doctor was very pleased with her progress. No shots this month, but…
Allison is standing a LOT! Just about anything she can pull herself up on, she does. Saturday morning, Steve was holding her while she waited for her bottle and when I gave it to her, I told him he could just sit her down on the floor and she’d hold it all by herself. Well he figured he’d lean her against the couch, sitting down. She did NOT want to sit, she wanted to stand so when he put her down, she wouldn’t bend her legs so here is how he left her. It was so cute, I had to grab my camera and get a picture. Like I said, she’s standing A LOT! She loves to stand up and grab what ever Holly has…
This past weekend our GREAT friends Karen, Charlie and Jessica came over to help us put together the swing set that the girl’s grandparents bought them. It was an all day Sunday project. Steve has been putting up the swings and toys during the week, but the entire structure was done on Sunday. Last night Steve got Allison’s swing up. This is her first time on a swing and she LOVED IT. She giggled the entire time. Here is a video I made of her….so much fun!!! http://www.youtube.com/get_player Thank you Nana, Papa, Nonnie, Grandpa, Charlie, Karen, Jessica and Steve. Those giggles make it so worth it!! PS…. Miss Allison decided that she would take 5 steps and then 10 steps on her 1st birthday!!! We…
Wow, two posts in one week by me, that just doesn’t happen anymore. LOL Yesterday the girls and I spent the afternoon at my parents house. I try to visit with them about once a week if I can. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside yesterday. The sun was shining and there was hardly any humidity, just perfect. On our way there, we stopped at Walmart to see if they had a pool for Holly. We had to replace the one we had because we lost the plug to it and now the water won’t stay in it, imagine that. lol Anyways, it was the first opportunity to use the new double stroller that I got this week. Holly loved being next to her sister, she…

My kids and I enjoyed those video clips of your cutie girls! 🙂
So cute.
Oh my goodness your girls are TOO cute!!! I love your conversation with Holly! It was great actually hearing your voice too! Your accent is adorable. What is really funny is that I didn’t understand what Holly said sometimes until you “interpreted”. I guess as a mom you just can understand so much better. Thanks for sharing!
Karen, too precious. Cami loves to see Holly, how fun!
