I’ve been baking cookies for the past 8 years now and last year was the first Christmas that I didn’t bake (I think I baked the year Holly was born but I’m not sure, I might not of, it’s all a blur). I was so sorry that I didn’t so I made sure this year I did. I usually stress about getting it done but I didn’t. I enjoyed the process and I especially enjoyed Holly helping me. March 2nd and it snowed. Now I know it’s still ‘technically’ winter on March 2nd BUT really, we hardly ever get snow that late anymore here but we did today. The girls enjoyed it so I guess that’s the important part but it was a lot of shoveling, again.It probably doesn’t look like much, but it is a lot of snow for us!Holly was taking all the icicles off the car, she was showing me the “big” one she found!

We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. We have these absolutely BEAUTIFUL flowers out front along the road that we have NO IDEA what they are (the previous owner planted them). I’ve even had people stop and ring my bell asking me what they were. They are HUGE and they really do catch your eyes. Well my mother in law showed some one a picture and they told her they were Hibiscus. At first I wasn’t sure when I looked in my BIG BOOK OF FLOWERS but then I did some research online and found out there are about 200 different species of Hisbiscus and with further research I found the ones we have. I’m so bad at coming up for titles for my posts here, and all I could think about this video is “she’s so silly”. I am in the process of clearing out our computer/craft room so we can move Holly in there after the holidays (the new baby is going in Holly’s current room). Holly discovered tonight that she fits perfectly in the cabinet under my desk for my computer tower. It was really cute watching her try and get herself in there all the way and close the door.
