Allison is doing so well. She is such a good baby and easy too. She is sleeping GREAT and eating up a storm. She seems to have mommy’s appetite! She goes for her 1 week check up tomorrow and I’m sure her doctor will be pleased with her. We are enjoying her so much, when she is awake though that’s not too much. Holly just LOVES her baby sister and gets so upset when she goes to sleep. She was having fun ‘playing’ with Allison while she was in her crib watching her butterfly/dragonfly mobile but after a while Allison started falling asleep. Holly was not happy with that and wanted me to wake her up. We have been trying to explain to her that…

Well believe it or not but baby #2 will be here sooner than we think!! When I think of the timeline and the things we still have to do before it’s arrival, I realize how little time we really do have left. Got to get moving! We go again tomorrow for our big ultrasound where they see everything, including what the sex of the baby is. We are hoping that this time the baby cooperates much better and we can find out that everything is looking good and if we are painting the room blue or yellow. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I know, I know it’s been forever since I’ve updated but, we had lots of people over during Christmas and New Years and then Allison started with a little cold (that won’t go away) and then Holly started and the poor thing is such a trooper. So needless to say, I’ve been a bit busy. The Christmas tree is still up, can you believe that! ~Christmas~ We had a great Christmas. I love decorating the tree. It’s one of my favorite things to do this time of year. It’s funny because when I was a kid my mother would make me help her, I remember it so clearly, and I never wanted to help. I’m not sure why but I always had to help her anyways. (I’m sure my mother will comment about how true that is!) Well now I love decorating the tree and I’m glad Holly enjoys helping me. Last year she did a little but this year she really helped. Sick Night. Yup! You read that right. Holly had so much fun with her new room, getting a hair cut and all her new toys (see post below) but her night wasn’t as much fun. Around 9:30pm she woke up and threw up all over her crib and everything in it. Poor thing was crying and shaking, she had no idea what just happened. So we got her up, cleaned her up and sat up with her most of the night. She continued getting sick for 4 hours!! Poor thing, all she wanted to do was go to sleep she was so tired.
