We had a great weekend. There were over 75 people here on Saturday and everyone had a great time. We had a HUGE pool party and a Surprise 60th Birthday Party for my father. We were lucky that the clouds stayed over head to shield us from the sun because other wise it would of been even hotter. This was the biggest party yet. The pool was full most of the day and even though we had Too Much food, it all seemed to go. A great day all around. Here are some pictures to highlight our day….

I can’t believe how big the girls are getting. I look at Holly and the baby is gone and so is the toddler. She is getting to be such a big girl it amazes me that not to long ago she was a baby. It’s like I blinked and she’s 3 1/2. And I know November will be here before we know it and she’ll be 4!!! Allison, wow she grew too fast. Funny how the first year for the second baby seems to fly by! I can’t believe she is already ONE and walking and trying to run and feeding herself (not all the time but she takes over pretty fast). I’m taking an online class by Renee Pearson to learn how to Digital Scrapbook. I don’t think I will go ALL digital, but I DO want to learn. Santa Claus brought me Photoshop Elements 4.0 so that’s what I’m using. Here is the first lesson and my first ever Digital Page. Of course this isn’t going into Holly’s scrapbook, it will be in my “Learning Digital Scrapbooking” scrapbook.

Holly and I took a trip up to New Hampshire yesterday to visit with Jodi, Lil David and a friend of ours from college Jenny. (Hi Jodi and Jenny!!!). It was a beautiful day for a drive…the sun was out and it was nice and warm (but not HOT) and it just made me feel so good to be out in it. Holly did fantastic on the ride up. She slept for about 45 minutes right in the middle of the 2.5 hour drive…it was perfect! She even let me listen to most of my music all the way there…that was a treat for me. The baby’s room is finally yellow. I am SO happy with how it’s turned out. We will put one more coat on this weekend, but it looks so GREAT! I was so afraid that the color was going to be wrong, when ever I pick out paint, once it’s mixed and bought, I second guess myself the entire time until it’s up on the walls. I couldn’t be more happier about the way this room has turned out. I can NOT WAIT to get the nursery set up now. Here are some pictures of our new Yellow room. We had pretty busy weekend, but not too bad. Got a lot done. My inlaws are replacing their bed in the spare room with a bigger bed, so they gave us their old one, which is much more comfortable than the one we had in our spare room. So on Saturday they brought that over. Holly and Nana had a lot of fun playing in her new room with Dora’s castle. Holly loves when Nana comes over because she’s a FUN playmate. We visited with them and had a late lunch before they headed home. Then Steve, Holly and I hung out for the rest of the night.
