Merry Christmas………..

Holly looks forward everyday for her daddy to come home from work. She’s usually waiting by the door to see his car pull up and then she gets all excited. They have their play time after dinner and boy do they play. I think sometimes Holly thinks she’s a boy and likes to rough house. It’s really cute watching them play. Holly has learned to use daddy as a human slide….it’s the funniest thing and they both enjoy it. I don’t hear daddy complaining. Yup, Allison is up on her feet, not walking yet, trying to figure out how to cruise, but she is up!! She started pulling herself up over the weekend. We used to put things on Holly’s Dora table that Allison couldn’t have, but we can’t do that anymore. First she would get up on her knees to see what she could grab, but after just a few days, she started pulling herself up on her feet and now she can reach just about anything on that table, she can also push it over, like she did today, opps! She’s standing along the couch, standing in her crib and trying to pull herself up on my pants leg. She even turned the volume down on her…

We had a nice LONG Easter weekend that began on Thursday when our friends arrived. Jodi and Lil David came to spend a few days with Holly and I because Steve was going on a trip (A trip that once again didn’t happen LOL). Holly and David were SO EXCITED when they saw each other, it was so adorable. They really are buddies and enjoy each other. They had a great time and played so well together, even better than I expected! Holly’s has had some issues recently with sharing so I expected a problem, but she did so well, we had a few issues but nothing like I imagined. We are all sick here. Not fun at all! The joy of back to school. Everyone has been really healthy and after 2 weeks of Holly back to school (mind you she only goes 2 times a week) we are already sick. Basically we all have colds, Steve’s is just starting today, but the girls have been running temps up and down for a few days. No one has been sleeping good so we are all tired. Better this weekend though than next week because we are heading to Bob and Melissa’s wedding so we don’t want to be sick for that. Just a cute picture I took of Holly the other night.
