Happy Valentine’s Day!!!!

I love watching the girls sleep. As a matter of fact I look in on them every night before I go to bed. They are just so cute and so quiet when they sleep. Yes they both take after mom and talk a lot, but then again when daddy gets talking he doesn’t shut up either! It’s been a while since I’ve snapped a picture of them sleeping so I couldn’t resist. Allison and Zebra (he’s like the son we never had)… Holly and Lamy (her stuffed animal of the month)….

Well we’ve realized that we should start trying to Potty Train Holly. Not exactly sure how to go about it but the first step was to open the box with the Potty that’s been sitting in my dining room for 2 months now. So last night I did exactly that, put it together and put it next to the toilet in the bathroom. When it was time for Holly’s bath I said to her… “Do you want to sit on the potty and do pee pee’s?” She got all excited sat down smiled for the camera and then got up. Then she went back, sat down, smiled for the camera again and then got up. We did this about 5 times without any pee pee’s….

This past weekend our GREAT friends Karen, Charlie and Jessica came over to help us put together the swing set that the girl’s grandparents bought them. It was an all day Sunday project. Steve has been putting up the swings and toys during the week, but the entire structure was done on Sunday. Last night Steve got Allison’s swing up. This is her first time on a swing and she LOVED IT. She giggled the entire time. Merry Christmas and Happy New Year. I know, I know it’s been forever since I’ve updated but, we had lots of people over during Christmas and New Years and then Allison started with a little cold (that won’t go away) and then Holly started and the poor thing is such a trooper. So needless to say, I’ve been a bit busy. The Christmas tree is still up, can you believe that! ~Christmas~ We had a great Christmas. This past week the girls and I went to Mystic with Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents). It was so crowded but we still had a good time. The girls loved it. They went a few weeks ago with Steve but he didn’t have the camera with him but I had it this time. Holly was a little scared at first when she saw the big whales, but she got over that pretty quickly. Allison just looked and smiled at everything. Here are some pictures….
