Happy Birthday Mom……………….

I’m taking an online class by Renee Pearson to learn how to Digital Scrapbook. I don’t think I will go ALL digital, but I DO want to learn. Santa Claus brought me Photoshop Elements 4.0 so that’s what I’m using. Here is the first lesson and my first ever Digital Page. Of course this isn’t going into Holly’s scrapbook, it will be in my “Learning Digital Scrapbooking” scrapbook.

I know it’s been 18 days since I posted. I didn’t have my camera for a few of those days and just got behind. But today I was informed it had been 18 days so I decided to make sure I updated today! Can you believe that Allison is 5 month’s old today. Where is the time going. She’s getting so big so fast and changing so much. Here are our monthly pictures of her with the zebra. I was able to snap one picture before she grabbed the zebra….. and put it in her mouth…. everything goes in the mouth now. I think each month’s picture is going to be harder and harder to take! Holly loves to play dress up with Mommy’s hats and scarfs. I have a ton of hats and scarfs and they are all in a basket near the door, along with Holly’s hats and scarfs. She prefers to dress up in mine when we are home. It’s really cute. These were her two fashion’s this past weekend. I tried getting a picture of Holly and my mother this weekend but Holly didn’t want to smile properly, but I couldn’t resist posting this picture because I can’t believe how big she looks in here. It’s amazing to see how fast she’s growing up.

Allison really likes to color… a lot. She holds the crayon really well, even better than Holly does. And she tries to color in the objects, but of course she still goes outside the lines. We have plenty of time to perfect that. She would prefer to use markers, but since she likes to write on things other than paper, she is only allowed to use crayons. She doesn’t really like that, but for now she has to listen. She likes to write also. If you write her name, she’ll write right over it, as if she is tracing. It’s cute. It’s another way of her copying what we do. She likes to follow Holly around the house and do exactly as she does. I…

Well at least in our house and in Holly’s wardrobe. Most of her pants are too long for her so until i find more that fit her, we will be wearing a LOT of skirts with tights. I got these tights at The Children’s Place — love that store!!!. When I got her dressed I asked her if she wanted to wear her new shoes with the flowers on them and believe it or not, she ACTUALLY let me put them on her. For those of you that know, Holly usually gives me a hard time putting new shoes on her but this time she didn’t. Such a BIG GIRL!! So here she is in her first fall outfit and I couldn’t resist putting on…
