Happy Birthday Mom……………….

I think I use that blog post title quite often but I can’t help it, my girls are cute! Allison usually gives me that scrunched up nose smile like Holly used to do give me but I was able to catch her before she did it and this is what I got and yes, she is “so cute”. I didn’t expect Allison to be able to wear many of Holly’s cloths because they were born opposite seasons but it actually worked out pretty well and Allison has been able to wear a lot of them. This outfit is one of the ones that was Holly’s and I’m glad we got more use out of it. Doesn’t she look ‘so cute’ in it? 🙂

I bought Holly some watercolors since she LOVES to color so much. After lunch last week, I pulled everything out. I showed her what to do and she immediately caught on and really seemed to enjoy it….until she got some of the paint on her hands. She didn’t like that part. I had to keep wiping off her hands. I told her not to touch the brush so nothing would get on her hands, but she just kept doing it. So funny the things she does understand and the things she doesn’t understand. She made 2 masterpieces and had lots of fun. But I don’t think we’ll be trying finger painting anytime soon! We went to The Big E last week. We love going and…

Allison was 2 months old on Sunday. She is getting so big too! We went for her check up yesterday and she weighs 10lbs 4 oz and is 22 1/4 inches long. The doctor was very happy with that. She’s growing perfectly! She also had her first round of shots. Mommy doesn’t like the shots anymore than her girls do. Allison actually did pretty well, she didn’t cry too much with the first one, but the second one must of really hurt because she screamed! The third one she was already screaming so that just continued. But after less than a minute she was fine again so I think she did really well. Unfortunately, she’s been running a very slight fever since she got them…

This past Saturday was my oldest nephew Jonathan’s Birthday Party. He turned 8 today. I can’t believe it!!!! Happy Birthday Jonathan!!!! At his party, the kids made Chocolate Pizza’s. What a cute idea and boy did they all LOVE IT!! Even Holly, not even being 2, enjoyed it. She didn’t know right away what to do, but she caught on really fast. She mostly enjoyed tasting all the different candies and the frosting. I got lots of cute pictures of her and decided to do a layout already! Holly learned to spell her name a while ago and can even write it. I’ve been told that’s really good that she can do that at her age. She is constantly asking me what a bunch of letters together spell. It’s very hard sometimes to even try and pronounce the letters she puts together. Here is an example: cdgghok – What does that spell? I have no idea. So I decided that since she wants to learn how to spell words then I will take a 3 letter word and work with that for a little while and take it from there. So our word for this week is DOG. Each day I ask her through the day how to spell DOG and she spells…
