Happy Birthday Mom……………….

Wednesday Holly and I had a Target shopping date with Jodi and Lil David. We had a very nice time and the kids were so good. At first Holly didn’t want David sitting in the car next to her but soon he was making her laugh and they really had a great time. All David wants to do is hold Holly’s hand, but she thinks wants to take her stuff (maybe he does sometimes) but most of the time he just wants to touch her and make her laugh. They are so cute together and they really do seem to enjoy each other. Whenever we were out of their site in Target you could hear Holly say “David, where are you??” it was too cute….

Holly LOVES her books. She wont really sit too long and let us read to her but she does spend a LOT of time looking through her books. I’m glad because her daddy is a HUGE reader and I know he learned a lot of what he knows through reading and I wish for that for her too. I enjoy reading too, but I like the romance novels and I don’t learn too much I can use in life from them. LOL I keep a bunch of books in the car now too and if I need to keep her awake or she just needs some entertaining, then I hand her a book. She’ll sit there, point to things that she knows and even thing…

Now that Holly is talking so much, every now and then, she says something and we just have to laugh, it’s so cute. This weekend on Saturday her Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents) came to visit. Then on Sunday I told her that Nonnie and Papa (my parents) were coming to visit her. She said to me“more Nana’s and papa’s today”It was so cute! She absolutely loves all 4 of her grandparents and she had so much fun playing with them all this weekend. Today (Monday) we went to Target. When we got to the register, the cashier said Hi to us, pretty normal. Sometimes Holly will say Hi back, other times she gets shy and won’t even look at the cashier. Well today was…

I received my new camera the week before the wedding so all the pictures I took were with that and I love it. It’s very similar to my old camera but it’s a newer version so somethings were improved and they changed the way some things worked so I’m still learning. But I am very happy with the pictures it took. Glad I had to get a new one. A few people have asked me how I made money to buy the camera. Well some of you know that I’ve become very frugal and save a LOT of money when I go shopping and I really enjoy taking surveys and doing mystery shopping. We had a very nice weekend. Actually the it started on Thursday for us. We arrived in Agawam Thursday morning because Steve had to work up there on Thursday and we returned home Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. Holly did fantastic while we were there. She wasn’t even bothered by the fact that we weren’t home for 4 days. She’s so great. Being away from home seemed to inspire her to say more words. She says mama all the time now. She would say it from time to time but it is a regular word for us now and I LOVE to hear it. She also started saying Slow, More and Ball. Too cute! Love to hear that little voice, it’s the best…

The Knight Family came to visit us last weekend and the kids were so excited to see each other. David went right up to baby Allison to give her a kiss…….it was so cute. They were late getting here and Holly was not happy about that. LOL The next day she told David that they were late because his Daddy drove slow……..how cute is that!! I love the mind of a three year old! It was a nice visit, quick of course but we were glad to have them. Just a few pictures of the 3 of them having Popsicle’s together.
