Another day, another necklace (she previous post). Oh and she likes to look at the picture after I take it so she’s reaching for the camera saying “I see I see I see” then she looks at herself and says “Allison” only it doesn’t come out that clearly but she’s trying. She’s so cute!
This past week the girls and I went to Mystic with Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents). It was so crowded but we still had a good time. The girls loved it. They went a few weeks ago with Steve but he didn’t have the camera with him but I had it this time. Holly was a little scared at first when she saw the big whales, but she got over that pretty quickly. Allison just looked and smiled at everything. Here are some pictures…. Steve and I (along with my parents) had a little cake for Holly last night, her party is this weekend and our family’s will come over to celebrate with her. Let’s just say that she LOVED having Happy Birthday sung to her and she was even excited to blow out her candles. I never realized a 2 year old could do that. But she could NOT keep her little fingers out of the frosting. We won’t let her do this to the big cake on Saturday but we just let her have fun with her little cake. It was so cute and of course, I got it all on video!! Here’ it is……….enjoy!!

Holly loves to play the knock, knock game. It’s really cute. She will say ‘knock, knock’, I’ll say ‘who’s there’ and then she starts naming all the Backyardigan’s one at a time. It’s really cute. I was finally able to get it on video. Just so you know, the Backyardigan’s names are Pablo, Austin, Tyrone, Tasha and Uniqua. She added a few other people into the mix this time. Enjoy!

We finally was able to take the boat out for a ride on Saturday. They were expecting it to be hot and humid but instead it was beautiful and a great day to be outdoors, especially if you were on a boat! We had a fun time. Holly stayed behind with Grandma and Grandpa. Our friends Mark and Jeff came with us. I’m glad Mark came because he grew up on a boat too like Steve so he knows the language and what to do. I have no CLUE when it comes to boating. I guess over time I’ll learn though. But we had a great time and stopped at Hamburg Cove which is along the CT River and the guys went swimming. The current…
