One Flower…………

Holly and I had a craft day today (Monday) and we had so much fun. I pulled out the washable markers and gave her lots of paper and sat her across the table from me while I scrapbooked. My best friend Jodi challenged me to do some pages this weekend, but I never got to it. Today I sat us both done and went to town. Holly had a lot of fun with the markers, and thankfully they were washable because she made a mess, a cute mess, but a mess. Hope you all have a good week!!!

This morning when Holly got up I told her we were (hopefully) going to find out today if she was going to have a brother or sister. I then asked her if she wanted a brother or sister and she said “BROTHER”. So we’ll have to see if she gets what she wants. Stay tuned!!!

The girls had a BLAST on Halloween this year. Holly was counting down the days while Allison had no clue. We go to downtown Westerly where they close down the street (yes, town is so small it’s just one street LOL) and the stores all pass out candy. We went for the first time last year and really enjoyed it so we decided to do that every year. We really can’t walk the street and trick o treat where we live anyway. We we got there Allison was in awe just looking around trying to figure out what was going on, it was really cute. Steve and I thought we’d do some redecorating this week since we have nothing else to do. Oh wait, we are having a baby in a week, what are we thinking?? Oh that’s right we had no choice when the water starting leaking though the ceiling in the dining room and coming up from the cracks in the floor in the basement TV room. That’s right, we had to have them cut holes in our ceiling and pull up our rug downstairs. I forget we had no choice. Can you hear the sarcasm in my voice?? I’m trying to keep a smile on my face through this entire thing but it’s not easy. I just seemed to get the house in pretty good order this…

The girls got another trunk full of dress up cloths from Auntie Jodi for Christmas. They love playing dress up. This particular morning Holly just looked adorable. She is quite the fashionista! And a cute close up of my princess… Allison was showing me the picture that her and Holly drew online of Max & Ruby. I think they did a pretty good job! Holly is very artistic, she pretty much did all the drawings. Allison has her Cinderella dress on behind the picture, half on half off. My other Princess.

We had a nice Easter and the girls had so much fun. We are still having Easter Egg Hunts in the house. Did you know that the Easter Bunny left me a note saying he would be back this weekend to pick up all the empty plastic eggs. Yup! And then he will bring them back next year. Isn’t that nice of him?? (lol) I’m so glad because I have eggs EVERYWHERE in the house. Allison loves playing with the eggs too and dumps the bucket all over the floor several times a day. I’m glad she is enjoying them too, but we have lots of other toys too so it’s good that the EB is picking those up in a few days. Here are…
