Just some cute pictures I got of Holly over the weekend. The tired princess…… Playing in the sand at the playground, one of her favorite places to be! “Mommy look, a BIG rock!!” Sunday we went to my parents house for Palm Sunday dinner. Holly loves playing with her cousins and I was able to get a cute picture of her and Jonathan and then the three of them.
Holly graduated from Preschool and is off to Pre-K. Not that there is a BIG difference but it’s still a step forward. She had a great teacher this year that we really loved and Holly enjoyed going to school everyday. Here are a few pictures from Graduation. They sang a few songs too and it was adorable. We don’t let Holly take any toys into her crib. We just never did. Before her morning nap today she was playing with her baby doll (that’s what we call her) so nice. She’s been playing with her a lot lately, carrying her around the house, just like a little mommy. Well, I decided today to try something and let her take baby doll with her for her nap. I looked in on her after a few minutes and she was laying there, touching baby doll, I thinking she found a tag on her cloths. Then I looked in once more when it got quiet and she had fallen asleep with her arm around baby doll. For some of you that have children this is…
Yesterday was Steve’s birthday. We had our parents over for pizza and cake. Nothing exciting, just something to celebrate the day. My brother and Sister in law couldn’t make it but the boys came with my parents. We had a nice time. Holly got all excited when we started singing Happy Birthday. She just loves that song. It’s funny because most kids her age don’t it when you shut off the lights, light some candles and sing. Not my daughter, she absolutely LOVES it. Here are some pictures fo the singing event…. That’s me!! Not sure how old I was there but I’m guessing a couple of months old. I was the second child so the pictures weren’t marked with dates or anything else. (LOL sorry mom but it’s true). I knew Allison looked more like my family but I didn’t realize how much she looked like me. When I pulled out that picture I felt like I was looking at her. Here is a picture of her I took recently that definitely shows the resemblance.
I’ve become a bad blogger, sorry. Of course I have a good excuse, still I need to try and update more. I used to spend a good amount of time on the computer after Holly went to bed while I watched TV, but lately I’ve been watching TV in bed then going to bed since Allison gets up to eat a few times at night. I will try to do more. The girls are still doing well. Holly is acting like a 2 year old and testing me at times, but over all she is still doing great with the adjustment of Allison joining our family. And she still kisses her sister, all the time. Allison is doing great, getting bigger and bigger every day….
