While Jodi was visiting, she did the girls hair… they look like Princess Lea in Star Wars (is that how to spell her name?)  Jodi loves doing the girls hair because she has two boys.  After she did their hair she wanted to take a picture of them but the girls were having one of their moments.  They didn’t want to be next to each other or to even touch each other. So Jodi said to them “Make believe you like each other for a minute”.  And this is the result of that….. No more Momma or Dadda, it’s now Mommy and Daddy. “Thank you Mommy” and “I love you Daddy” Though I love this change because it shows she is growing up and her language is developing amazingly, it also means she’s not a baby anymore. We have just a few more things left of her ‘babyhood’ and once they are gone, it’s going to hit me hard. I see pictures like this one and notice how grown up she looks, but I can also still see her as a baby in my mind. Any mother can probably agree with me, it does go by so fast, almost in the blink of an eye. My mother has a Christmas tradition with her Grandchildren. Each year she buys…

No picture with Santa yesterday. That’s ok, i really didn’t expect that she would but it was worth a try. She did enjoy seeing him at first glimpse, then lost interest and just wanted to see the balls on the christmas trees (she’s obsessed with anything round!). But we tried and if I can get to the mall again next week, I’ll try again. I’m not going to push it. She’s never had her picture taken with Santa yet, but someday she will I’m sure. She received a christmas gift from my husband’s aunt and uncle this past weekend. They bought her a dora table and chairs. She LOVED IT!!! We have it set up in our TV/Playroom right now and hope to move it…

The girls had a BLAST on Halloween this year. Holly was counting down the days while Allison had no clue. We go to downtown Westerly where they close down the street (yes, town is so small it’s just one street LOL) and the stores all pass out candy. We went for the first time last year and really enjoyed it so we decided to do that every year. We really can’t walk the street and trick o treat where we live anyway. We we got there Allison was in awe just looking around trying to figure out what was going on, it was really cute. This past weekend our friends Bob and Melissa were married in PA. They asked Holly to be a flower girl and she hasn’t stopped talking about it since that day. Well now she has even more to talk about. She was the cutest flower girl and did such a GREAT job. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of her. She didn’t even hesitate when she went down the aisle. She was having fun tossing the flowers along the way. Allison was also a hit since she looked so cute too. She was a very good girl during the ceremony and sat and ate her goldfish like a big girl. I love this picture of Steve and Holly. We were getting ready to go out and Steve was putting Holly’s coat on her and I snapped this picture. Even though Holly isn’t looking at the camera, it still makes a great shot. The Two Loves of my LIFE!!! I’m always telling Steve how much she is like him.
