I can NOT believe that Allsion is already 18 months old. That was the fastest 18 months of my life! She was such a sweet baby and is turning into an adorable toddler (with quite the temper) and I don’t want her to grow up anymore. If I could keep her this age forever I would. She is my baby and always will be. Now that that is said, we are enjoying hearing her finally say things. She’s got a sweet voice and is building a good vocabulary. Holly absolutely LOVES her daddy. She gets so excited when he comes home from work every day. After dinner daddy usually sits down to watch tv for a little bit and that’s usually Holly’s opportunity to play with him and climb all over him. One night last week she loaded a bunch of stuffed animals on top of daddy and then climbed on top of him too and did a little cuddling. It was so sweet I had to snap a picture. So glad I caught that moment….. My little fishes swimming this past weekend….

Holly has this new thing..she puts both hands over her ears. I’m really not sure why she does it…is she trying to block out the sound? Does she really NOT want to hear mommy’s beautiful singing voice?? I don’t see why she’d want to block that out but perhaps she does. Or did she just realized that it sounds funny when she puts her hands over her ears? I’ll never know but she sure looks cute doing it! What do you think?? While I cleaned the bathroom yesterday, Holly planted herself right outside the bathroom door and played with her pig. I thought it was so cute. I was able to squeeze in a few minutes yesterday to get two scrapbook pages done. Here’s what…

I’m sure you’ve all seen The Big Toy Book that Toy’s R Us put out every year?? Well it arrived in this weekends paper and we kept it for our Christmas shopping. I was showing Steve a few things in the book and when I left it on the couch, Holly grabbed and and began to look through and make her ‘list’. It was the cutest thing, she just kept turning page after page and saying “Dora, Boots”….I had to snap some pictures. I guess this is just the first year of many that she’ll grab that book and make her list.

Steve and I (along with my parents) had a little cake for Holly last night, her party is this weekend and our family’s will come over to celebrate with her. Let’s just say that she LOVED having Happy Birthday sung to her and she was even excited to blow out her candles. I never realized a 2 year old could do that. But she could NOT keep her little fingers out of the frosting. We won’t let her do this to the big cake on Saturday but we just let her have fun with her little cake. It was so cute and of course, I got it all on video!! Here’ it is……….enjoy!!
