Alllison’s Day….

Wow, two posts in one week by me, that just doesn’t happen anymore. LOL Yesterday the girls and I spent the afternoon at my parents house. I try to visit with them about once a week if I can. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside yesterday. The sun was shining and there was hardly any humidity, just perfect. On our way there, we stopped at Walmart to see if they had a pool for Holly. We had to replace the one we had because we lost the plug to it and now the water won’t stay in it, imagine that. lol Anyways, it was the first opportunity to use the new double stroller that I got this week. Allison started Pre-School even though she isn’t quite 3 year but she’s so ready to go and is all potty trained. For now she is in the 2 year old room until she turns 3. We love her teacher Miss Jen and so does she. She never even cried once when I dropped her off. I’m so proud of her.

Got another digital page done. Lovin these sketches from Gina Miller Designs, makes my life easier!! OK, I know I did another orange page, I’ll try to do another color next time. LOL I have a tendency to almost always match my papers to the dominate color in the picture. I think I should let that go sometimes but I seem to do it all the time. Thanks for looking!

We had a great weekend. There were over 75 people here on Saturday and everyone had a great time. We had a HUGE pool party and a Surprise 60th Birthday Party for my father. We were lucky that the clouds stayed over head to shield us from the sun because other wise it would of been even hotter. This was the biggest party yet. The pool was full most of the day and even though we had Too Much food, it all seemed to go. A great day all around. Here are some pictures to highlight our day….

That’s what I heard from the backseat of the car yesterday. At first I just smiled because she’s just so darn cute and then it hit me…. my 3 year old just counted backwards from 5!!!! I was so excited. I told her how great that was and how proud I am of her to count backwards and I said to her “Where did you learn to do that?” She said “at school mommy, the teacher told me”. How excited was I. Obviously school was a great idea. She is 9 months old this week. Can you believe that! I hope! Holly is back to herself, like she’d never even been sick. I’m glad for that..I missed her little spirit running around the house talking on her phone, playing with her little people, dancing with dora. All that is back and more. Now we need to get Mommy back on the mend. I ended up catching what she had and was in bed Friday night when Steve got home. I spent the day in bed on Saturday and Sunday I was started to feel better. So far so good today. Now lets just hope that Steve doesn’t catch it. Tomorrow I plan on disinfecting the house to get rid of this bug. I just don’t have all my energy back today to do it….
