A trip to the mall….

Holly LOVES to dance. I believe I’ve mentioned that before. I got her on video this time and she’s even singing along. Enjoy….

We had a nice weekend, but it’s nice to get back into what ever normal is in our house. For Christmas Eve, my inlaws, my parents, Uncle Rick and Auntie Connie and our friend Melissa all came for a nice Italian dinner. Not the traditional italian christmas eve of fish and seafood, but my own version of an Italian dinner….Salad, homemade Lasagna, homemade meatballs and sausage, homemade eggplant parm and lots of yummy Italian bread!! What’s an Italian meal with out yummy bread. OH and top that off with a real yummy Italian dessert with lots of cream and friut. I have no idea what it was called but it was good!!! We all enjoyed it very much and we ate way too much, both…

I guess you could say that Holly is potty trained. She wears her big girl undies all day except when we go out, then she puts on a pull up even though she doesn’t want to. Until she get’s better at it, I feel better if she has a pull up on. She is even going on the Big Potty and we are so proud, but mommy has to hold her because she is afraid she’ll fall in. She’s doing great and doesn’t even wet her pull up most of the time when she has it on. The only time she does is if she is sleeping, but I know that will get better. We are so proud of her, she caught on really quickly…

The girls are getting bigger and having trouble sharing at times, but not always. They do a good job keeping each other busy and really do love each other. When Allison and I pick up Holly from school, Allison gets giddy when we pull into the school parking lot. When Allison gets up from a nap Holly is so excited to go in and see her. They hug each other before bed and I love seeing that. I haven’t been able to catch a good picture of the two of them together in a while until today. I just love how this came out. This one will be going in a frame. And the best part, they got their two best friends in the picture,…

I know it’s been 18 days since I posted. I didn’t have my camera for a few of those days and just got behind. But today I was informed it had been 18 days so I decided to make sure I updated today! Can you believe that Allison is 5 month’s old today. Where is the time going. She’s getting so big so fast and changing so much. Here are our monthly pictures of her with the zebra. Holly has this new thing..she puts both hands over her ears. I’m really not sure why she does it…is she trying to block out the sound? Does she really NOT want to hear mommy’s beautiful singing voice?? I don’t see why she’d want to block that out but perhaps she does. Or did she just realized that it sounds funny when she puts her hands over her ears? I’ll never know but she sure looks cute doing it! What do you think?? While I cleaned the bathroom yesterday, Holly planted herself right outside the bathroom door and played with her pig. I thought it was so cute.
