Wow I can’t believe that it’s January again!!! Each year seems to go by faster and faster the older I get. And now that I have a child, I can defiently see how fast time goes by, it’s amazing how big Holly is getting. She’s no longer a baby and it shows through every single day. She is saying so much, and so well too. Every week she is adding more and more words to her vocabulary it’s amazing! I need to work on Potty training a little bit more and see if it’s possible to get her trained before baby comes along, but I’m not sure if it will happen, but I’ll try. Yup, Allison is up on her feet, not walking yet, trying to figure out how to cruise, but she is up!! She started pulling herself up over the weekend. We used to put things on Holly’s Dora table that Allison couldn’t have, but we can’t do that anymore. First she would get up on her knees to see what she could grab, but after just a few days, she started pulling herself up on her feet and now she can reach just about anything on that table, she can also push it over, like she did today, opps! Holly has this new thing..she puts both hands over her ears. I’m really not sure why she does it…is she trying to block out the sound? Does she really NOT want to hear mommy’s beautiful singing voice?? I don’t see why she’d want to block that out but perhaps she does. Or did she just realized that it sounds funny when she puts her hands over her ears? I’ll never know but she sure looks cute doing it! What do you think?? We’ve all been sick. First Allison, then Mommy, then Holly and finally Steve. The wonderful stomach and intestinal bug……… fun fun fun. We have been just lying around the house for a few days. I felt really bad for the girls, they were not themselves, but they were still cute. Steve took some pictures of the girls sharing the couch. Holly smiled, but Allison just couldn’t.
