Well, Holly’s still not better. Today she’s completely not herself. Steve woke me at 7am and said she was awake but just laying there playing with her hands. I told him to go get her and bring her into bed with me (cuz she loves to play on the bed) and when he did, she just layed there..then wanted to get down and started with that wine/grunt sound. So I told him to get her some juice. She sucked down 3/4 of the cup. She sat with me while she did that so I had my “bottle” moment. Then she wanted cheerios so I gave her some, but she only had a few. After that we just sat on the couch together and she pretty…

When it was time to come inside Holly asked if we could have some Hot Chocolate, so I said “sure!”. She was all excited, this was the first time she was trying it. I mixed it up, added some cold milk to cool it down and then added one of her favorite things……… marshmallows!! Oh Boy life can’t get better than this right now (she is thinking). She LOVED it! Of course she didn’t drink much, which is what I expected, but she sure did eat all the marshmallows. She’s such a cutie.

I’m feeling much better today. The pain is pretty much gone and so is most of the uncomfortableness. I know that’s not a word but it discribes what I was feeling the past few days. I haven’t taken any of the pain killers since Saturday and today I didn’t even take any Aleve. Don’t need it anymore. So glad this was a quick recovery, just like everyone told me it would be. I can lift Holly now and drive, but I still need to limit my lifting/pushing to 25lbs for the next few weeks. No problem with that! I don’t usually lift/push that much anyways. I go to the doctors tomorrow to hopefully have the staples removed because they are bugging the heck out of…

I’ve been a very bad blogger. I just uploaded my pictures onto the computer because my card was full and I can’t believe how many pictures I had that I wanted to share. Guess I should check my camera more often. LOL Pasta Night Holly loves Pasta (what Italian child doesn’t, right?) but she prefers it with butter. No problem…It’s easier that way in case I don’t have any sauce on hand and the clean up is SO much better…Butter in the hair as opposed to sauce all over her. Holly loves her daddy so much and she gets so excited when he comes home from work. Most nights I open up the door so she can watch for him as he pulls in the driveway. She loves to sit there and watch and wait….. Another thing she likes to do with daddy is sit with him and watch tv. She doesn’t usually stay very long but when she does, her favorite spot is sitting inside his folded legs. It’s so cute. I’m so glad that they have such a wonderful relationship.
