Happy Birthday Steve

Wow, two posts in one week by me, that just doesn’t happen anymore. LOL Yesterday the girls and I spent the afternoon at my parents house. I try to visit with them about once a week if I can. It was absolutely BEAUTIFUL outside yesterday. The sun was shining and there was hardly any humidity, just perfect. On our way there, we stopped at Walmart to see if they had a pool for Holly. We had to replace the one we had because we lost the plug to it and now the water won’t stay in it, imagine that. lol Anyways, it was the first opportunity to use the new double stroller that I got this week. Shh….Don’t Tell!!!! Mommy snuck a barrett in Holly’s hair this weekend. Holly had no idea…until about 2 hours later when she put her hands on her head and well that was the end of that. Now she’s onto me…I can’t brush her hair to long because she knows what I might do. But I’ll keep trying because she looked so cute!!! The funny thing was, when she found it and pulled it out, she then kept trying to put it back in her hair. It was so funny. I tried to fix it for her and she let me once, but that was it. Holly loves to play. She plays very well by herself too. She’s such a good girl!! Today she decided that she was going to play with everything at once!! Twice she emptied out her toy box and just tossed everything everywhere. It’s a small area so it fills up pretty quickly. Maybe she was looking for something and thought, hey this could be fun. I don’t know but I had to clean it up and then later on she did it again. Here’s the proof…. Then she decided after all her toys were out of the toy box, she’d take all of mommy’s “toys” otherwise known as Tupperware and put that all over the kitchen floor. What a mess!!!! Allison is getting better. She hasn’t had a fever since Sunday so the antibiotics are working their magic. She’s been in such a better mood too. I’m glad because she is such a pleasant little baby, it was so sad to see her unhappy. Holly is still doing great in school, loving every minute of it and doing well. We are really proud of her! Isn’t she getting big???

Holly did wonderful sleeping in her new Big Girl bed. It’s pretty much as if nothing has changed. This is a child that can be resistant to change, but she must of been ready to transition because she isn’t even phased by it. And we couldn’t be more proud of her Last night, once again, she went right to bed and slept all night long, no problems in her bed. And in the morning she’s even been staying there until she sees me getting up, then she gets out of her bed.
