This Weekend’s Pages……

I’m feeling much better today. The pain is pretty much gone and so is most of the uncomfortableness. I know that’s not a word but it discribes what I was feeling the past few days. I haven’t taken any of the pain killers since Saturday and today I didn’t even take any Aleve. Don’t need it anymore. So glad this was a quick recovery, just like everyone told me it would be. I can lift Holly now and drive, but I still need to limit my lifting/pushing to 25lbs for the next few weeks. No problem with that! I don’t usually lift/push that much anyways. I go to the doctors tomorrow to hopefully have the staples removed because they are bugging the heck out of…

Holly finally went pee pees on the potty!!!! This is such a big thing for us because though she has sat on the potty many many times, she never actually did anything. Well on Thursday night, Steve and Holly talked about going on the potty and she said tomorrow. Not that we really believed her, but I did still ask her in the morning if she wanted to go on the potty. She said yes. So we went into the bathroom (all 3 of us, I was feeding Allison at the same time) and she sat down and in just about no time she got up and said “look mommy, pee pees” and I couldn’t believe my eyes, there were pee pees in the potty….

I think I have a headache!!!

I can NOT believe that Allsion is already 18 months old. That was the fastest 18 months of my life! She was such a sweet baby and is turning into an adorable toddler (with quite the temper) and I don’t want her to grow up anymore. If I could keep her this age forever I would. She is my baby and always will be. Now that that is said, we are enjoying hearing her finally say things. She’s got a sweet voice and is building a good vocabulary. Allison is standing a LOT! Just about anything she can pull herself up on, she does. Saturday morning, Steve was holding her while she waited for her bottle and when I gave it to her, I told him he could just sit her down on the floor and she’d hold it all by herself. Well he figured he’d lean her against the couch, sitting down. She did NOT want to sit, she wanted to stand so when he put her down, she wouldn’t bend her legs so here is how he left her. It was so cute, I had to grab my camera and get a picture. Like I said, she’s standing A LOT! She loves to stand up and grab what ever Holly has…

Halloween is approaching and I need to find Holly a costume but I’m so tempted to put the same thing on her as last year just because it was so darn cute. (But I will get something different). Here she is, just under 1 years old, walking already, on her first night of trick o treatin….she seemed to enjoy it and we loved how cute she looked….
