The Knock, Knock game……

Holly said her first sentence this past week. After dinner her daddy went outside to mow the lawn and when she realized he wasn’t there so looked at me, put her arms out (like when you say things are all gone) and said to me….”Where’d dada go?” I was so excited!!! I told her “dada went outside” and then she said in a question “outside?”. It was a conversation…something that is new to her and I and I LOVED IT. It made me realize how fast she is growing up. New words are normal around here everyday now. She is trying so hard to talk and if she doesn’t know words, she makes them up. She’s also not a phone person (not sure where she…

We had a very nice Thankgiving and everything was delishous, of course. My mother has us all over for dinner and she does pretty much all the cooking herself and it’s always so good. We had a fun day and the kids all had a great time. A few pictures of the girls with their cousins Jonathan and Kristopher.

These girls are getting so big, so fast…………it’s amazing! Allison likes to carry a ‘bunch’ of things at a time by tucking them under her chin. It’s really cute when she does this. One day I let her play with the tub of wipes so I could finish up some things around the house (of course I have plenty of wipes to spare). Once they were all pulled out of the tub, she then carried them from room to room, and of course tucked them under her chin. I was able to catch a couple of pictures of her…. This morning when Holly got up I told her we were (hopefully) going to find out today if she was going to have a brother or sister. I then asked her if she wanted a brother or sister and she said “BROTHER”. So we’ll have to see if she gets what she wants. Stay tuned!!!

I’m taking an online class by Renee Pearson to learn how to Digital Scrapbook. I don’t think I will go ALL digital, but I DO want to learn. Santa Claus brought me Photoshop Elements 4.0 so that’s what I’m using. Here is the first lesson and my first ever Digital Page. Of course this isn’t going into Holly’s scrapbook, it will be in my “Learning Digital Scrapbooking” scrapbook.

When you are having fun and I really am with the girls. Holly is just getting so big and becoming more and more of big girl each day and the toddler is slowly fading away. She is pretty much potty trained, she only wears a pull up when we go out and at night. Even when we are out she will ask to go to the potty. Sometimes 3 and 4 times at one place, but I know I have to just go with it. She doesn’t use her little potty much anymore. She goes right into the bathroom and sits on the big potty all by herself and then comes to me to help her put her pants back on. It’s amazing how well…
