The Knock, Knock game……

Today was Holly’s first day of her new preschool. She was VERY excited this morning and could not wait to get there. She got dressed right when she got up and was ready to go. In my previous post I mentioned that Allison loves standing, well she still does! And she’s starting to walk along the couch a lot more. She even lets go everynow and then, but I still don’t think she’ll be walking anytime soon. I hope not, I am not ready for that yet! I’m greeted by her standing in her crib whenever I go and get her and she usually has a smile on her face like this….. It’s amazing how fast she is growing! We were all getting better, but not anymore. Yesterday (Friday) was not a very fun day for us. We have some problems with water coming into the house through the garage when it rains a lot, especially in the winter when the ground is frozen. Yesterday was the worst yet and needless to say, this spring we are going to fix the problem for sure. Steve planned on staying home in the morning because that was when it was going to rain the most and the hardest. We have a few pumps so things were going well until about 10:30am. Steve and I (along with my parents) had a little cake for Holly last night, her party is this weekend and our family’s will come over to celebrate with her. Let’s just say that she LOVED having Happy Birthday sung to her and she was even excited to blow out her candles. I never realized a 2 year old could do that. But she could NOT keep her little fingers out of the frosting. We won’t let her do this to the big cake on Saturday but we just let her have fun with her little cake. The girls got another trunk full of dress up cloths from Auntie Jodi for Christmas. They love playing dress up. This particular morning Holly just looked adorable. She is quite the fashionista! And a cute close up of my princess… Allison was showing me the picture that her and Holly drew online of Max & Ruby. I think they did a pretty good job! Holly is very artistic, she pretty much did all the drawings. Allison has her Cinderella dress on behind the picture, half on half off. My other Princess.

well, at least for picture taking! I took tons of pictures between Friday and Sunday. Of course I love every one of them…but I’ll just post a few. Friday, after Holly’s bath, I snapped a few pictures of her. When I say a few, I took about 30 of them (hehehe). She just looks so big in these pictures, maybe it’s because she doesn’t have any cloths on, but I can’t believe how big my little girl is getting. How fast did that happen!
