Sorry..

Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!

That’s what I heard from the backseat of the car yesterday. At first I just smiled because she’s just so darn cute and then it hit me…. my 3 year old just counted backwards from 5!!!! I was so excited. I told her how great that was and how proud I am of her to count backwards and I said to her “Where did you learn to do that?” She said “at school mommy, the teacher told me”. How excited was I. Obviously school was a great idea. She is 9 months old this week. Can you believe that! On Friday Holly went to get her bangs cut (I can’t believe how fast this kids hair grows!!) and I decided to have Betsy take off about 2 1/5 inches from the back. She complains all the time when I brush it because it’s getting really knotty as it gets longer and also in the winter it gets very flyaway with the cold air so less hair to fly away. Holly really didn’t mind cutting a bit and it’s still long, just not as long. I think she looks cute. I know when my father sees it he won’t be happy, he loves long hair on little girls. When I was a kid, I had really long hair and for some reason ( I think…

On Saturday we all went for haircuts, including Allison. She really needed one and I couldn’t wait anymore. She has hair just like Holly’s and it’s very fine. The back isn’t growing in very well yet, just like Holly’s and I can’t not cut it like I did with Holly. I’ve learned so off to the hair dressers we all went. Allison did great getting her hair cut, she just didn’t want to sit in the chair, but that was OK, she let mommy hold her and had no problem at all letting Betsy cut her hair. I did take some pictures but my camera settings were still set for nighttime so they didn’t come out to well. Also she wouldn’t smile for the camera….

Got another digital page done. Lovin these sketches from Gina Miller Designs, makes my life easier!! OK, I know I did another orange page, I’ll try to do another color next time. LOL I have a tendency to almost always match my papers to the dominate color in the picture. I think I should let that go sometimes but I seem to do it all the time. Thanks for looking!

When it was time to come inside Holly asked if we could have some Hot Chocolate, so I said “sure!”. She was all excited, this was the first time she was trying it. I mixed it up, added some cold milk to cool it down and then added one of her favorite things……… marshmallows!! Oh Boy life can’t get better than this right now (she is thinking). She LOVED it! Of course she didn’t drink much, which is what I expected, but she sure did eat all the marshmallows. She’s such a cutie.
