I’m so excited. One of my layouts (of Holly of course) is in the Top 10 for a contest at Scrap Town. Now the member’s get to vote on the winner. I looked at all the layouts today and boy do I have competition. I don’t think my layout is the best one there, but I’m so excited for it to be there with the rest of them. You can take a look here . On Friday Holly went to get her bangs cut (I can’t believe how fast this kids hair grows!!) and I decided to have Betsy take off about 2 1/5 inches from the back. She complains all the time when I brush it because it’s getting really knotty as it gets longer and also in the winter it gets very flyaway with the cold air so less hair to fly away. Holly really didn’t mind cutting a bit and it’s still long, just not as long. I think she looks cute. I know when my father sees it he won’t be happy, he loves long hair on little girls. Here we are back at Monday morning. I used to HATE Mondays but now I like them. It’s a fresh start to a new week. I get the house back in order from the weekend and Holly and I plan our week. It helps that I don’t have to jump out of bed, get dressed and head out the door. That’s probably why I don’t Hate Monday’s anymore. But we had a nice weekend. My inlaws came and stayed the weekend (Hi Marge!!) and Holly loved it! Then we had a nice dinner at my parents house (Hi Mom!!) for Palm Sunday. My mother is a GREAT cook. Yesterday we went to the Big E in Springfield Mass with Nana and Papa. The girls had a great time! The weather was perfect for being outside all day too and that made the day very enjoyable. Nana and Papa bought Holly a ‘ride all day’ pass and she really wanted to ride all day. She had a blast! Every ride that she was tall enough for, she went on. She was very brave with a few of them and she made mommy very proud. The height requirement was 36″ and she just made it at 36.5″. We got lucky! I’m feeling much better today. The pain is pretty much gone and so is most of the uncomfortableness. I know that’s not a word but it discribes what I was feeling the past few days. I haven’t taken any of the pain killers since Saturday and today I didn’t even take any Aleve. Don’t need it anymore. So glad this was a quick recovery, just like everyone told me it would be. I can lift Holly now and drive, but I still need to limit my lifting/pushing to 25lbs for the next few weeks. No problem with that! I don’t usually lift/push that much anyways. I go to the doctors tomorrow to hopefully have the staples removed because they are bugging the heck out of…

Wednesday Holly and I had a Target shopping date with Jodi and Lil David. We had a very nice time and the kids were so good. At first Holly didn’t want David sitting in the car next to her but soon he was making her laugh and they really had a great time. All David wants to do is hold Holly’s hand, but she thinks wants to take her stuff (maybe he does sometimes) but most of the time he just wants to touch her and make her laugh. They are so cute together and they really do seem to enjoy each other. Whenever we were out of their site in Target you could hear Holly say “David, where are you??” it was too cute….
