Holly was so excited when I pulled up her shade to reveal the beautiful white stuff. She asked me if she could go out and play in the snow I told her yes we would go this aftrnoon. Stay tuned for more pictures from later today!
Holly is defiantly a fish in the water like her dad. Not that I don’t Love the water, because I do, but it’s a different Love for Steve and Holly seems to have that too. She even lets him dunk her underwater. I really should take her for formal swim lessons this fall. She just has so much fun while in the pool. Whether it’s the big pool or her kiddie pool, she just LOVES the water. And then at the end of the day she gets to take a bath and get into more water. The nursery is really coming together, thanks to my mother. She spent the weekend here and helped me finish up moving Holly’s stuff out of the closet and Baby’s stuff into the closet, she put the wall border up and started hanging pictures on the nursery wall (we need to by string to hang the rest and each time we went shopping, we forgot!). That’s what Holly said today when I pointed to a picture of me! Finally I’m not “dada”. That’s what she usually says when she sees a picture of me but today she said “tat mommum” tat is That which she’s never said before. I’m so happy!!!! I don’t know if she’ll say it again, but at least she’s trying!!! These are the little things that make my day brighter, especially when it started earlier than I wanted it to. She slept better last night, but was up early again. Those darn teeth! I can’t wait until they are all out. Well I guess I really don’t want to rush that, because then it means she’s getting bigger which I’ve been having a hard time dealing…
I love watching the girls sleep. As a matter of fact I look in on them every night before I go to bed. They are just so cute and so quiet when they sleep. Yes they both take after mom and talk a lot, but then again when daddy gets talking he doesn’t shut up either! It’s been a while since I’ve snapped a picture of them sleeping so I couldn’t resist. Allison and Zebra (he’s like the son we never had)… Holly and Lamy (her stuffed animal of the month)….
