I’m trying…
ByKarenI’m trying really hard to get into a routine to update here more often, but my life isn’t that exciting to post something every day. I did take some cute pictures of Holly today but I haven’t uploaded them yet and as soon as I do I’ll post them. Here are a few of my more recent scrapbook pages of Holly. Of course they are of Holly, I don’t scrapbook anything but her anymore!! I love paper scrapping but I’m very interested in trying out digital scrappin. I just need a HUGE block of time to sit at my computer and learn, which I don’t have right now. Someday, maybe when Holly is 6. LOL

All the Snow!!
ByKarenWe got a lot of snow yesterday. There is probably about 7 inches. That’s a lot to shovel. But my man did the job and he’s now exhausted! He did really good since we need room to put a few cars this coming week for Christmas. We have a stone driveway (most of you know that) and we really hope to get it paved in 2010. As long as nothing else big breaks in the house in 2009.Holly was very excited to go outside again andonce Allison saw her out there, she wanted to go out too. So I bundled her up in Holly’s snowsuit from last year (I love this snowsuit and I’m so glad that Allison can wear it now) and she looked…

Allison is 18 Months Old!!
ByKarenI can NOT believe that Allsion is already 18 months old. That was the fastest 18 months of my life! She was such a sweet baby and is turning into an adorable toddler (with quite the temper) and I don’t want her to grow up anymore. If I could keep her this age forever I would. She is my baby and always will be. Now that that is said, we are enjoying hearing her finally say things. She’s got a sweet voice and is building a good vocabulary. She says….. uphelpdadaappledoggiecookieholly (not very well but she tries)papagrandpathank youpleaseanimal I think that is it, but she tries to say so much more. Notice that mama, nana and nonnie are NOT on that list. If you ask…

She’s walking all the time now….
ByKarenAllison is a full fledged walker now and even tries to run at times. She no longer crawls! She started walking a bit right after her 1st Birthday and each week it got more and more and for about 10 days now it’s been a full time thing for her. We love to watch her walk, she waddles a bit still but is very steady. Her run is a really fast walking and it’s amazing she doesn’t fall over. Here is a video I took of her tonight walking back and forth down the hall to her room. I guess she was ‘dancing’ to the music and kept coming back to turn it on. She’s so cute. Holly had to get in on the action…

Our First Snow……….
ByKarenOur First Snow, for this year that is. It snowed today and Holly was so happy. It didn’t really snow last year, nothing that she could play in and the year before she doesn’t remember so today was a fun day! Believe it or not, her snowsuit I bought her last year fits her perfectly, she’s so tiny. So that worked out well since I didn’t buy another one this year. She patiently waited for Allison to go down for her afternoon nap so we could go outside. Here are some pictures of her all bundled up having fun. Her had kept falling over her eyes. She was so cute! She had a blast!!!

5..4..3..2..1…..BLAST OFF!!!
ByKarenThat’s what I heard from the backseat of the car yesterday. At first I just smiled because she’s just so darn cute and then it hit me…. my 3 year old just counted backwards from 5!!!! I was so excited. I told her how great that was and how proud I am of her to count backwards and I said to her “Where did you learn to do that?” She said “at school mommy, the teacher told me”. How excited was I. Obviously school was a great idea. She is 9 months old this week. Can you believe that! Here is her monthly picture with the zebra…Here is her picture with the zebra the week she came home from the hospital. Looks like the baby…
