Holly is developing quite the personality and she shows it with her many facial expressions. Steve and I find ourselves laughing at her a lot, especially when she gets mad. We can already tell the teenage years are going to be fun! Yesterday I caught two of those “famous expressions” on camera. Of course we think she’s just a beautiful even when she looks like this……. This look is saying “Mommy, I don’t want to smile right now”. This look says “What do you mean I can’t have another snack???” (I get that one a lot during the day, especially right before supper) But like the shirt, she’s a princess in our eyes, even when she gets mad.

This past weekend we took Holly to the pumpkin patch. She had so much fun there last year, we know she’d enjoy it even more this year, and she did! She tried picking up all the pumpkins but most were too heavy. She kept running from pumpkin to pumpkin saying “help me, help me” because she was desperate to pick them up. It was so cute. If Holly could say those words, that’s what we would of heard over the weekend from her. She’s been trying for so long to climb up onto the love seat by herself. She’s been successful once or twice but she’s tried a lot more than that. Well, this weekend she achieved her first little goal….getting up on the love seat, repeatedly, by herself. And each time she would look so proud too. I finally caught a picture of her up there by herself this morning, but of course she wouldn’t smile for me. Now that Holly is talking so much, every now and then, she says something and we just have to laugh, it’s so cute. This weekend on Saturday her Nana and Papa (Steve’s parents) came to visit. Then on Sunday I told her that Nonnie and Papa (my parents) were coming to visit her. She said to me“more Nana’s and papa’s today”It was so cute! She absolutely loves all 4 of her grandparents and she had so much fun playing with them all this weekend. Today (Monday) we went to Target. Happy 16th Birthday Danielle!!!! Today is my little cousin Danielle’s 16th Birthday and she’s getting her driver’s permit. Now when in the world did that happen. How did she get to be 16 when she was just born. It’s amazing how fast she has grown up right before my eyes. When she was little, my sister in law and I would tell her we were going to call the stores and tell them to stop making cloths so she wouldn’t grow anymore and I think she believed us back then. Last week, the girls and I, along with Danielle met Jodi and David to go strawberry picking. It was pretty overcast and we knew it was going to rain but we did our best to get the picking done before the rain came, and we did, just in the nick of time! The kids LOVED it. Holly doesn’t like to eat strawberries but she loved picking them. While we walked to the field, Holly and David held hands, it was so cute. I’m not sure if someday they will love us for these pictures, or hate us, but they are just so cute together! Now onto the strawberry picking. The biggest strawberries were already gone, but we sure did get some yummy, sweet and juicy…
