OH SO CUTE!!!

I’ve been baking cookies for the past 8 years now and last year was the first Christmas that I didn’t bake (I think I baked the year Holly was born but I’m not sure, I might not of, it’s all a blur). I was so sorry that I didn’t so I made sure this year I did. I usually stress about getting it done but I didn’t. I enjoyed the process and I especially enjoyed Holly helping me. Holly learned to spell her name a while ago and can even write it. I’ve been told that’s really good that she can do that at her age. She is constantly asking me what a bunch of letters together spell. It’s very hard sometimes to even try and pronounce the letters she puts together. Here is an example: cdgghok – What does that spell? I have no idea. So I decided that since she wants to learn how to spell words then I will take a 3 letter word and work with that for a little while and take it from there. So our word for this week is DOG. Each day I ask her through the day how to spell DOG and she spells…

We were up early again today. Poor little Holly, it must be so tough when those gums hurt. I’m sure that’s what the problem is. She tossed and turned all night. Mommy doesn’t get to sleep much on those nights but I can sleep in (until 8 at least) the next few mornings because Steve will be home. I’m so glad he’s an early riser! Allison is doing so well. She is such a good baby and easy too. She is sleeping GREAT and eating up a storm. She seems to have mommy’s appetite! She goes for her 1 week check up tomorrow and I’m sure her doctor will be pleased with her. We are enjoying her so much, when she is awake though that’s not too much. Holly just LOVES her baby sister and gets so upset when she goes to sleep. She was having fun ‘playing’ with Allison while she was in her crib watching her butterfly/dragonfly mobile but after a while Allison started falling asleep. Holly was not happy with that and wanted me to wake her up. We have been trying to explain to her that…

Today is my baby girls 2nd birthday. I can’t believe how fast the past 2 years have gone by. It’s been so amazing and fun since the day she was born. Our lives changed in a way that no one could ever explain to us, but it was the best change ever. Holly is an amazing little girl and has brought so much joy to everyone who knows her. She’s smart, funny, silly, loving, cuddly and so much more. There are days that Steve and I just look at her and think, how could we not love her as much as we do. She’s a blessing to our lives and we LOVER HER beyond words and actions. Yesterday we had her 2 year picture taken…
