OH SO CUTE!!!

I love the summer, but not the heat. We defiently do so much more in the summer than any other time of year. Things we LOVE about summer: 1. POOL When we were looking for a house a pool was NOT a priority and when we found one with it, we figured it was a great bonus. We had no idea how awesome it would be to have a pool. We have a huge yard so right after Steve mows the lawn (on his riding mower) he jumps right into the pool to cool off. Makes mowing more fun. The first summer here we knew the pool was worth it and last year was even better because Holly LOVED the water. I’m hoping she enjoys…

Holly loves to play dress up with Mommy’s hats and scarfs. I have a ton of hats and scarfs and they are all in a basket near the door, along with Holly’s hats and scarfs. She prefers to dress up in mine when we are home. It’s really cute. These were her two fashion’s this past weekend. I tried getting a picture of Holly and my mother this weekend but Holly didn’t want to smile properly, but I couldn’t resist posting this picture because I can’t believe how big she looks in here. It’s amazing to see how fast she’s growing up.

Just some cute pictures I got of Holly over the weekend. The tired princess…… Playing in the sand at the playground, one of her favorite places to be! “Mommy look, a BIG rock!!” Sunday we went to my parents house for Palm Sunday dinner. Holly loves playing with her cousins and I was able to get a cute picture of her and Jonathan and then the three of them.

Well at least in our house and in Holly’s wardrobe. Most of her pants are too long for her so until i find more that fit her, we will be wearing a LOT of skirts with tights. I got these tights at The Children’s Place — love that store!!!. When I got her dressed I asked her if she wanted to wear her new shoes with the flowers on them and believe it or not, she ACTUALLY let me put them on her. For those of you that know, Holly usually gives me a hard time putting new shoes on her but this time she didn’t. Such a BIG GIRL!! We don’t let Holly take any toys into her crib. We just never did. Before her morning nap today she was playing with her baby doll (that’s what we call her) so nice. She’s been playing with her a lot lately, carrying her around the house, just like a little mommy. Well, I decided today to try something and let her take baby doll with her for her nap. I looked in on her after a few minutes and she was laying there, touching baby doll, I thinking she found a tag on her cloths. Steve and I (along with my parents) had a little cake for Holly last night, her party is this weekend and our family’s will come over to celebrate with her. Let’s just say that she LOVED having Happy Birthday sung to her and she was even excited to blow out her candles. I never realized a 2 year old could do that. But she could NOT keep her little fingers out of the frosting. We won’t let her do this to the big cake on Saturday but we just let her have fun with her little cake. It was so cute and of course, I got it all on video!! Here’ it is……….enjoy!!
