OH SO CUTE!!!

I have been teaching Holly to hold up 2 fingers to show she is Two years old (One more month to go) and also I’ve been trying to catch on video her counting from 1 to 10. It hasn’t been easy, she doesn’t perform on command. We did try one afternoon this past week but all she was interested in was jumping and climbing up the side of the chair. Here she is….

Holly looks forward everyday for her daddy to come home from work. She’s usually waiting by the door to see his car pull up and then she gets all excited. They have their play time after dinner and boy do they play. I think sometimes Holly thinks she’s a boy and likes to rough house. It’s really cute watching them play. Holly has learned to use daddy as a human slide….it’s the funniest thing and they both enjoy it. I don’t hear daddy complaining. I’ve been told I am a bad blogger so this post is out of guilt for not blogging for over a week!!! (Hi KIM). It’s been busy with the long weekend, trying to get things done and Holly’s been fighting a cough and up at night for a little bit so her and I have not had a full nights rest for 3 nights. Hopefully she’ll be better soon. Steve’s been fighting a cold and it’s just about gone, and luckily I’ve been feeling pretty good. Holly has a rocking horse she received for her 1st Christmas from her aunt and uncle. She’s never been on it, just pets the horse and says “good horsie”. I’ve been trying for a while to get her to…

That’s me!! Not sure how old I was there but I’m guessing a couple of months old. I was the second child so the pictures weren’t marked with dates or anything else. (LOL sorry mom but it’s true). I knew Allison looked more like my family but I didn’t realize how much she looked like me. When I pulled out that picture I felt like I was looking at her. Here is a picture of her I took recently that definitely shows the resemblance.

I guess you could say that Holly is potty trained. She wears her big girl undies all day except when we go out, then she puts on a pull up even though she doesn’t want to. Until she get’s better at it, I feel better if she has a pull up on. She is even going on the Big Potty and we are so proud, but mommy has to hold her because she is afraid she’ll fall in. She’s doing great and doesn’t even wet her pull up most of the time when she has it on. The only time she does is if she is sleeping, but I know that will get better. We are so proud of her, she caught on really quickly…

This morning when Holly got up I told her we were (hopefully) going to find out today if she was going to have a brother or sister. I then asked her if she wanted a brother or sister and she said “BROTHER”. So we’ll have to see if she gets what she wants. Stay tuned!!!
