OH SO CUTE!!!

I impaitently waited for my laptop to arrive today….it was a long day!! I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for her parents to wake up. It finally arrived at 3:31pm. I was so excited…but it took for ever to get all the updates I needed and to add the virus protection and then I had to cook dinner…why didn’t we get take-out tonight? But I’ve got it now and it’s up and running and now I just need to transfer everything to it. What a chore….but a good chore. Thanks again Steve and Holly for my awesome Birthday Gift. I guess turning 33 isn’t so bad after all.

Poor Allison, she’s sick again. Only this is not something she caught from anyone. She has a UTI. Not FUN! She started with a low grade fever last Monday night and we just figured it was teeth (which she still has NONE of) but on Thursday her temp went up over 101.6 so I called the doctor. She checked out fine without anything going on that was visible, so he told me if her fever continued over 101 then to come back the next day and they would do blood work and check her urine. Her fever went up to 103 Thursday night so back to the doctor on Friday. The office called me Saturday morning to tell me that she did have a UTI…

Like most 2nd children, Allison loves all of Holly’s stuff. Lately she’s been wearing her shoes, or mine and even Steve’s. It’s really cute and I think just about every kid does it. But today was the best yet. She came walking down the hallway wearing her jammies (blue – from David, we love hand me downs) and Holly’s Pink High Heel Shoes! And of course her buddy Zebra (otherwise know as “Z”) was with her. I am so glad I was able to grab my camera and catch a picture of her. We are finally getting ready for the Holidays. Christmas seems to be creeping up me and it’s going to be here before I know it. My favorite thing to do is put up the tree. I love my tree and get so excited to do it, but this year, I wasn’t looking forward to it. Just the the thought of taking the time to do it and then thinking how will Holly do with putting things on the tree, not taking them off, then I figured Allison would be grabbing every from the tree and putting it in her mouth. Just not something I wanted to do. Well Sunday was the day and it went VERY well. I really don’t know why I even worried…

Happy Monday everyone! I don’t really have much of a post today, just wanted to stop in and say hi. We had a nice weekend, I had the day off on Saturday and went scrapbooking for the day with Jodi. We had a lot of fun and I got a lot of pages done. I haven’t scanned them in yet so I’ll do that tonight and post those tomorrow. It was nice to spend the day with my best friend without any little ones around. But we did miss them, that’s for sure. Steve and Holly had a great day together. They took a ride to the beach and she played in the sand for a little while, it was very cold and windy so…

We were up early again today. Poor little Holly, it must be so tough when those gums hurt. I’m sure that’s what the problem is. She tossed and turned all night. Mommy doesn’t get to sleep much on those nights but I can sleep in (until 8 at least) the next few mornings because Steve will be home. I’m so glad he’s an early riser! This morning while I was checking my email, Holly came walking down the hall wearing one of my slippers. That was the first time she did that, and it was so cute! I tried to get a picture but it didn’t come to great. I had a bad angle and then of course she walked away from the slipper. She…
