Happy Birthday to me…..

Easter morning Holly didn’t really understand that the Easter Bunny was coming so I got to sleep in before she got her basket. Once I was up, her basket appeared in her room on her Dora chair. She was so excited when she saw it and her favorite thing in the whole entire basket was a little plastic flute that cost .25. Go Figure. But we were happy she liked everything. When Nana and Poppa came back from church they gave her their Easter Basket, another fun one! She loved everything in there too. I tried really hard to get a good picture of her in her dress, but she didn’t want to pose for me so this is the best I got. Daddy cooked…

I have a blog. Not really sure if this is for me but since I read so many of them, Steve suggested that I start my own. The only question is, what am I going to write about??? Holly??? Scrapbooking??? Ok, those will work! Bare with me please, I’m not a good writer (or a good speller..is there spell check on here) but I’ll try my best. I usually send out emails on updates with Holly so why not just post it here and then I have everything in the same spot so when I want to scrapbook what she does, I can just come here. I’ve been told I am a bad blogger so this post is out of guilt for not blogging for over a week!!! (Hi KIM). It’s been busy with the long weekend, trying to get things done and Holly’s been fighting a cough and up at night for a little bit so her and I have not had a full nights rest for 3 nights. Hopefully she’ll be better soon. Steve’s been fighting a cold and it’s just about gone, and luckily I’ve been feeling pretty good. Holly has a rocking horse she received for her 1st Christmas from her aunt and uncle. She’s never been on it, just pets the horse and says “good horsie”. I’ve been trying for a while to get her to…

I did a digital layout tonight of Holly’s Year in Review. There are some of my favorite pictures from each month of 2006. It’s amazing how much she changed from January to December. She no longer has that “baby” look, she’s all toddler, and boy is she ever!

I guess you could say that Holly is potty trained. She wears her big girl undies all day except when we go out, then she puts on a pull up even though she doesn’t want to. Until she get’s better at it, I feel better if she has a pull up on. She is even going on the Big Potty and we are so proud, but mommy has to hold her because she is afraid she’ll fall in. She’s doing great and doesn’t even wet her pull up most of the time when she has it on. The only time she does is if she is sleeping, but I know that will get better. We are so proud of her, she caught on really quickly…

Well, almost. It is absolutely beautiful here today. We have the heat down, a few windows open….I love the fresh air coming in, especially at the beginning of Spring. I’m sure it won’t last long, but I’m not even thinking about that. We had to run out to Walmart for a few things and it was too warm to put Holly’s winter jacket on so I pulled out the Spring Jacket!!!! Ok, it’s not so exciting for everyone, but it was for me. I love putting new things on her. Anyways, she looked absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! I had to zoom into the first picture so it’s not very clear.
