Happy Birthday to me…..

Well believe it or not but baby #2 will be here sooner than we think!! When I think of the timeline and the things we still have to do before it’s arrival, I realize how little time we really do have left. Got to get moving! We go again tomorrow for our big ultrasound where they see everything, including what the sex of the baby is. We are hoping that this time the baby cooperates much better and we can find out that everything is looking good and if we are painting the room blue or yellow. It’s been almost a year, I know but I’ve become much busier in the last year and this just kind of fell through the cracks, I’m sorry. But let’s just forget about all that and enjoy these pictures because it could be another year before I post anymore (just kidding, I will try). Holly started Tennis lessons last night. She loves playing it on the Wii so I figured why not let her learn how to play in real life. The lessons are only 30 minutes each week (which I found out was just enough time for them) on Friday afternoon’s for 4 weeks. Holly graduated from Preschool and is off to Pre-K. Not that there is a BIG difference but it’s still a step forward. She had a great teacher this year that we really loved and Holly enjoyed going to school everyday. Here are a few pictures from Graduation. They sang a few songs too and it was adorable. I’m so excited!!!!! Finally one of my scrapbook pages is going to be published!!!! Last week Memory Makers magazine emailed me that they were going to feature one of my pages in their online newsletter and I was VERY excited about that. Well this week Scrapbook Trends emailed me and they want to PUBLISH one of my layouts in their December Issue!!!!! I was so excited. I screamed for Steve and he thought something happened to Holly. He laughed at me as I jumped up and down squeeling like a pig I was so excited!!!!! The best part of it is it’s a layout with me and Holly in it, which makes it even more special. I don’t normally get great pictures of my mother because she hates to smile. She says she doesn’t know ‘how’ too (sorry mom, but you do!). Well I finally got a perfect picture of her and Holly and they are both smiling pefectly!! I scrapbooked it right away and I love how it came out. I found a quote that I thought would be great for this page because there wasn’t really a story to tell about the picture. It says “Grandma’s are mommies with lots of practice”. PERFECT!!

No picture with Santa yesterday. That’s ok, i really didn’t expect that she would but it was worth a try. She did enjoy seeing him at first glimpse, then lost interest and just wanted to see the balls on the christmas trees (she’s obsessed with anything round!). But we tried and if I can get to the mall again next week, I’ll try again. I’m not going to push it. She’s never had her picture taken with Santa yet, but someday she will I’m sure. She received a christmas gift from my husband’s aunt and uncle this past weekend. They bought her a dora table and chairs. She LOVED IT!!! We have it set up in our TV/Playroom right now and hope to move it…
