Craft Day……..

I’ve become a bad blogger, sorry. Of course I have a good excuse, still I need to try and update more. I used to spend a good amount of time on the computer after Holly went to bed while I watched TV, but lately I’ve been watching TV in bed then going to bed since Allison gets up to eat a few times at night. I will try to do more. The girls are still doing well. Holly is acting like a 2 year old and testing me at times, but over all she is still doing great with the adjustment of Allison joining our family. And she still kisses her sister, all the time. Allison is doing great, getting bigger and bigger every day….

I bought Holly some watercolors since she LOVES to color so much. After lunch last week, I pulled everything out. I showed her what to do and she immediately caught on and really seemed to enjoy it….until she got some of the paint on her hands. She didn’t like that part. I had to keep wiping off her hands. I told her not to touch the brush so nothing would get on her hands, but she just kept doing it. So funny the things she does understand and the things she doesn’t understand. She made 2 masterpieces and had lots of fun. But I don’t think we’ll be trying finger painting anytime soon! We went to The Big E last week. We love going and…

Allison is One month old today. I can’t believe how fast this month went by. She has grown so much and I can’t wait to take her to the doctor’s tomorrow and she how much she’s grown because I know she has. She received this cute zebra as a present when she was born from the ladies that own Curves (where I used to work) and I’m going to take a picture of her with it each month so we can see her grow. We started a new tradition for the end of Halloween. Sounds weird I know, but stay with me. Holly got two pumpkins this year and she’s been pretty attached to them. We never carved them, I don’t think should would of liked that. They had to be in her room at night when she went to bed and she carried them around the house with her too. Like I said she’s pretty attached to them.Steve mentioned to me on Halloween that he thought she would NOT be willing to part with them when they start to Rot….what would we do??? We got a LOT of snow today. Holly was so excited. It was supposed to start in the morning but it didn’t begin until about 1pm. Holly took a short nap and when I woke her it was snowing and she was so excited. We put on her old snow suit (she is getting a new one for Christmas but don’t tell her that) and her rain boots because she didn’t like the way the new boots fit her, and out in the snow we went! She wanted to use her sled but there wasn’t enough snow to sled but she had fun anyways………….as you can see! These pictures were taken after only a few hours of snow, we got much more, you’ll see tomorrow….

We had pretty busy weekend, but not too bad. Got a lot done. My inlaws are replacing their bed in the spare room with a bigger bed, so they gave us their old one, which is much more comfortable than the one we had in our spare room. So on Saturday they brought that over. Holly and Nana had a lot of fun playing in her new room with Dora’s castle. Holly loves when Nana comes over because she’s a FUN playmate. We visited with them and had a late lunch before they headed home. Then Steve, Holly and I hung out for the rest of the night.
