Craft Day……..

When you are having fun and I really am with the girls. Holly is just getting so big and becoming more and more of big girl each day and the toddler is slowly fading away. She is pretty much potty trained, she only wears a pull up when we go out and at night. Even when we are out she will ask to go to the potty. Sometimes 3 and 4 times at one place, but I know I have to just go with it. She doesn’t use her little potty much anymore. She goes right into the bathroom and sits on the big potty all by herself and then comes to me to help her put her pants back on. It’s amazing how well…

I keep trying with the barrette’s and pony tails and the more I try, the longer she keeps them in. Maybe someday we will be up to an entire day! The thing is, she looks so cute especially with pig tails, if only she’d keep them in. Recently one morning when I washed her hair, she actually asked me to put some things in her hair. I took this opportunity to give her pig tails. I always wore my hair in pig tails when I was little and I’d love to do that with Holly (now if only her hair would grow more, that would help). She looked so adorable!!!! Finally, Holly is getting into letting us read to her. She’s always enjoyed her books…

The nursery is really coming together, thanks to my mother. She spent the weekend here and helped me finish up moving Holly’s stuff out of the closet and Baby’s stuff into the closet, she put the wall border up and started hanging pictures on the nursery wall (we need to by string to hang the rest and each time we went shopping, we forgot!). Here are some pictures of the Nursery so far, it should be finished next weekend. Today we are going to buy Holly a bed and will try to have it delivered on Friday. The Knight Family came to visit us last weekend and the kids were so excited to see each other. David went right up to baby Allison to give her a kiss…….it was so cute. They were late getting here and Holly was not happy about that. LOL The next day she told David that they were late because his Daddy drove slow……..how cute is that!! I love the mind of a three year old! It was a nice visit, quick of course but we were glad to have them. Just a few pictures of the 3 of them having Popsicle’s together.

It’s just hitting me recently that Holly is indeed a toddler. Where did the time go? I can’t believe that little baby girl I had almost 18 months ago, is now a Toddler. It really is amazing how fast that went by. Everyone told me it would go by fast but I really had NO IDEA how fast. Here are two pictures of her.
