Cousins

Holly and I took a trip up to New Hampshire yesterday to visit with Jodi, Lil David and a friend of ours from college Jenny. (Hi Jodi and Jenny!!!). It was a beautiful day for a drive…the sun was out and it was nice and warm (but not HOT) and it just made me feel so good to be out in it. Holly did fantastic on the ride up. She slept for about 45 minutes right in the middle of the 2.5 hour drive…it was perfect! She even let me listen to most of my music all the way there…that was a treat for me. OK, I think this blogging is catchy! My best friend Jodi now has a blog too. You can see adorable pictures of her little boy David HERE! Anyone else going to start a blog??? So who’s reading this blog anyways. I do see that people visit daily…some from around the world…but hardly anyone leaves me comments. Just say hi…I LOVE getting email!!!!

Tuesday night we put the last coat of paint on the walls in the Nursery and I love it!! The yellow just looks so sunny and springy. Steve moved all the furniture back tonight so I’ll take a picture tomorrow and post it. This weekend, my mother is going to put the border up and slowly the room will start coming together. Pictures to come soon. Spring is starting to show it’s face around here. Today it was in the 60’s and just beautiful out. Holly and I played outside for a while and I even took my coat off. Yesterday we found the first signs of spring and they were in the same spot they are every single year, Crocuses. They pop up first…

We had a very nice Thankgiving and everything was delishous, of course. My mother has us all over for dinner and she does pretty much all the cooking herself and it’s always so good. I impaitently waited for my laptop to arrive today….it was a long day!! I was like a kid on Christmas morning waiting for her parents to wake up. It finally arrived at 3:31pm. I was so excited…but it took for ever to get all the updates I needed and to add the virus protection and then I had to cook dinner…why didn’t we get take-out tonight? But I’ve got it now and it’s up and running and now I just need to transfer everything to it. What a chore….but a good chore. Thanks again Steve and Holly for my awesome Birthday Gift. I guess turning 33 isn’t so bad after all.

Today we made our annual trip to Manfedi Farm’s Pumpkin Patch. Holly has been looking forward to going for a while and was very excited today! Allison really enjoyed it this year too. Last year she was just 6 months old and sat in the stroller just looking around. This year she touched the pumpkins, tried to pick up a few and enjoyed the ducks and the chickens. In the end, we left with a small pumpkin for Allison, a little bigger pumpkin for Holly, a medium size pumpkin for Holly to take to school to carve and paint and a bigger pumpkin for mommy to carve.
