It’s been a while since we’ve had a picture of the four cousins so we decided to take on at Allison’s Birthday Party. Of course it’s impossible to get them all to smile perfectly at the same time. But they are kids and they are cute!

It’s been almost a year, I know but I’ve become much busier in the last year and this just kind of fell through the cracks, I’m sorry. She loves playing it on the Wii so I figured why not let her learn how to play in real life. The lessons are only 30 minutes each week (which I found out was just enough time for them) on Friday afternoon’s for 4 weeks. Holly and I took a trip up to New Hampshire yesterday to visit with Jodi, Lil David and a friend of ours from college Jenny. (Hi Jodi and Jenny!!!). It was a beautiful day for a drive…the sun was out and it was nice and warm (but not HOT) and it just made me feel so good to be out in it. Holly did fantastic on the ride up. She slept for about 45 minutes right in the middle of the 2.5 hour drive…it was perfect! She even let me listen to most of my music all the way there…that was a treat for me. I haven’t taken the time to blog the last few days but got lots to say (when don’t I?!!). Most importantly, my nephew Jonathan, who is 8 years old, had emergency surgery on Wednesday to have his appendix removed. Poor little dude was so sick Tuesday night and then by Wednesday morning his side was hurting so much he could not even walk. His parents acted fast because they suspected it was his appendix and sure enough it was. As they took it out, it burst so now he’s going to be in the hospital until Wednesday receiving an antibiotic. Poor little guy, he is being so brave and doing well. Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!
Holly turned 18 months last week. Amazing how fast that went by. She went for her 18 month checkup yesterday and did great. She still wasn’t to crazy about getting weighed (which I can’t blame her) but she did much better than she did at 15 months. She weighs 22lbs and is 31 1/4 inches tall. Perfect! She was a wild women in the exam room. She was all over the place running, jumping, spinning, laughing, talking etc. The doctor was very impressed with all of her. She’s so funny!!
