I know it’s been a while……..
ByKarenSorry for the lack of updates this month. The days are busy for me and I just haven’t been able to get to this. Things are going well, the girls are doing great and Allison is getting so BIG its amazing how fast the time is going by. She will be 12 weeks old next week, amazing! We’ve been enjoying the girls, the pool and getting our yard fixed, again. We think we finally fixed the water problem and hopefully will no longer have water coming in the house. Now we just have to plant more grass. Some day our yard will be full of grass and no weeds! LOL Here are some pictures from the last few weeks of the girls. I’ll try not…

Happy Birthday to you……….
ByKarenSteve and I (along with my parents) had a little cake for Holly last night, her party is this weekend and our family’s will come over to celebrate with her. Let’s just say that she LOVED having Happy Birthday sung to her and she was even excited to blow out her candles. I never realized a 2 year old could do that. But she could NOT keep her little fingers out of the frosting. We won’t let her do this to the big cake on Saturday but we just let her have fun with her little cake. It was so cute and of course, I got it all on video!! Here’ it is……….enjoy!!

Nonnie’s Ornament Tradition
ByKarenEvery year Nonnie (my mother) buys a new ornament for her grandchildren with each of their names for her Christmas Tree. Eventually the tree with be full of ornaments that say Jonathan, Kristopher, Holly and Allison. Then she’ll have the perfect tree! She likes to have the kids put the ornaments themselves and I always try to get a picture of it. Here are this year’s “ornament hanging pictures”. Allison wasn’t sure what she wanted her to do with it so Nonnie helped her. Holly was too quick so we didn’t get a picture of her putting it up, but she pointed to it for picture purposes, she’s such a great kid!

Spring is here!!!!!
ByKarenWell, almost. It is absolutely beautiful here today. We have the heat down, a few windows open….I love the fresh air coming in, especially at the beginning of Spring. I’m sure it won’t last long, but I’m not even thinking about that. We had to run out to Walmart for a few things and it was too warm to put Holly’s winter jacket on so I pulled out the Spring Jacket!!!! Ok, it’s not so exciting for everyone, but it was for me. I love putting new things on her. Anyways, she looked absolutely ADORABLE!!!!! I had to zoom into the first picture so it’s not very clear. After that she was walking towards me up an incline so she kept watching her feet. So…

She did GREAT!!!!!
ByKarenHolly did wonderful sleeping in her new Big Girl bed. It’s pretty much as if nothing has changed. This is a child that can be resistant to change, but she must of been ready to transition because she isn’t even phased by it. And we couldn’t be more proud of her Last night, once again, she went right to bed and slept all night long, no problems in her bed. And in the morning she’s even been staying there until she sees me getting up, then she gets out of her bed. This morning she woke up at 7 and I was hoping she’d go back to sleep but 20 minutes later she was still awake so I got up. But all that time she…

Poor Thing! I have some toys to donate to you. No need for real “toys” here…David just wants to play with magazines, the computer, papers and a crayon.
Holly is so cute! as usual!
LOL! Karen we have the same problem at our house! Hundreds of dollars worth of toys and the best toy – a basket of old Christmas cards – go figure! 🙂
