This Weekend’s Pages……

This past weekend our friends Bob and Melissa were married in PA. They asked Holly to be a flower girl and she hasn’t stopped talking about it since that day. Well now she has even more to talk about. She was the cutest flower girl and did such a GREAT job. Mommy and Daddy were very proud of her. She didn’t even hesitate when she went down the aisle. She was having fun tossing the flowers along the way. Allison was also a hit since she looked so cute too. She was a very good girl during the ceremony and sat and ate her goldfish like a big girl. Of course she doesn’t say much yet so making lots of noise wasn’t the issue. Both…

That’s what I heard from the backseat of the car yesterday. At first I just smiled because she’s just so darn cute and then it hit me…. my 3 year old just counted backwards from 5!!!! I was so excited. I told her how great that was and how proud I am of her to count backwards and I said to her “Where did you learn to do that?” She said “at school mommy, the teacher told me”. How excited was I. Obviously school was a great idea. She is 9 months old this week. Can you believe that! Holly looks forward everyday for her daddy to come home from work. She’s usually waiting by the door to see his car pull up and then she gets all excited. They have their play time after dinner and boy do they play. I think sometimes Holly thinks she’s a boy and likes to rough house. It’s really cute watching them play. Holly has learned to use daddy as a human slide….it’s the funniest thing and they both enjoy it. I don’t hear daddy complaining. I tried scrapbooking this weekend and while I did get 3 pages done, I’m not happy with any of them so I’ll try to re-work them until I’m somewhat satisfied. I seemed to have lost my scrappin mo-jo. Since that wasn’t working and I was really in the mood to scrap, I decided to try some digi scrapping. I purchased some templates from Gina Miller Designs last week so I thought they might help to get me going. Well it worked and I got 2 pages done. Then I took some time to organize my digital items to make it easier. I think this week I’ll just stick to digital and see what happens. Here are the 2 pages I did do…

I haven’t scrapped a page in over a month (not counting digital and a few projects I’m working on). I just couldn’t seem to get the creative juices flowing. Yesterday I finally sat down and started working on some things. 5 layouts later….I’m pretty happy to be back into it. I’m hoping to get more done this week. I have so many pictures so there’s always plenty to do!!! All these pages were done using kits from Personal Scrapper. Here’s what I did…. Thanks for looking!!!

Just a quick midweek update with some pictures to share. Allison is getting a little restless right now so this will be short and sweet. The girls are doing great and so are we. Mommy and her girls….This is actually Allison’s halloween costume but Holly wanted to put it on, it’s pretty small on her, though it doesn’t look that small……Allison is probably going to be swimming in it. Since Holly liked it so much, I got her one too that will fit her better.
