End of Halloween Tradition…
ByKarenWe started a new tradition for the end of Halloween. Sounds weird I know, but stay with me. Holly got two pumpkins this year and she’s been pretty attached to them. We never carved them, I don’t think should would of liked that. They had to be in her room at night when she went to bed and she carried them around the house with her too. Like I said she’s pretty attached to them.Steve mentioned to me on Halloween that he thought she would NOT be willing to part with them when they start to Rot….what would we do??? We talked about it and came up with an idea (rather than just taking them out of her room while she slept because we both…

Happy Birthday Daddy!
ByKarenYesterday was Steve’s birthday. We had our parents over for pizza and cake. Nothing exciting, just something to celebrate the day. My brother and Sister in law couldn’t make it but the boys came with my parents. We had a nice time. Holly got all excited when we started singing Happy Birthday. She just loves that song. It’s funny because most kids her age don’t it when you shut off the lights, light some candles and sing. Not my daughter, she absolutely LOVES it. Here are some pictures fo the singing event…. You would of thought it was Holly’s birthday because once the candles were out, she started reaching for the cake. Daddy didn’t mind, he let her have fun. We cut her a piece…

Easter Weekend Recap (Long Post)
ByKarenWe had a very nice weekend. Actually the it started on Thursday for us. We arrived in Agawam Thursday morning because Steve had to work up there on Thursday and we returned home Sunday afternoon. We had a great time. Holly did fantastic while we were there. She wasn’t even bothered by the fact that we weren’t home for 4 days. She’s so great. Being away from home seemed to inspire her to say more words. She says mama all the time now. She would say it from time to time but it is a regular word for us now and I LOVE to hear it. She also started saying Slow, More and Ball. Too cute! Love to hear that little voice, it’s the best…

The Nursery………
ByKarenNow that Holly is moved into her new room, we can start working on the nursery. I defiantly want to change the theme. I need something different because I’ve been looking at Holly’s room for almost 3 years. Change is good. We decided (well I guess really I decided) to paint the nursery yellow. I’ve been wanting a yellow room in my house and since my husband really isn’t into painting the rest of the house, why not have my yellow in the nursery. So to go along with that, I’ve been searching for he best girlie crib set that would go with the yellow room and finally my search is over. This is what I’ve decided on (notice I said I and not we,…

Girls Just Wanna Have Fun….
ByKarenHolly and Allison really LOVE each other. Allison’s face just lights up when Holly walks into the room and she gets so excited. And whenever Allison wakes from a nap, Holly’s face lights up when she sees her. It’s so great to see how much they love each other. I’m sure this will change as they get older, but I’m just enjoying it for now. Here are some cute pictures I got of them together last week. Our little Princess Holly. She loves to dress up in her Princess Dresses. On Friday, first thing in the morning she took of her PJ’s and put on this dress. Notice the hair isn’t even brushed, but she still looked cute. She loves to walk around in these…
