Boat Ride Layout…

I love the summer, but not the heat. We defiently do so much more in the summer than any other time of year. Things we LOVE about summer: 1. POOL When we were looking for a house a pool was NOT a priority and when we found one with it, we figured it was a great bonus. We had no idea how awesome it would be to have a pool. We have a huge yard so right after Steve mows the lawn (on his riding mower) he jumps right into the pool to cool off. Makes mowing more fun. The first summer here we knew the pool was worth it and last year was even better because Holly LOVED the water. I’m hoping she enjoys…

Holly finally went pee pees on the potty!!!! This is such a big thing for us because though she has sat on the potty many many times, she never actually did anything. Well on Thursday night, Steve and Holly talked about going on the potty and she said tomorrow. Not that we really believed her, but I did still ask her in the morning if she wanted to go on the potty. She said yes. So we went into the bathroom (all 3 of us, I was feeding Allison at the same time) and she sat down and in just about no time she got up and said “look mommy, pee pees” and I couldn’t believe my eyes, there were pee pees in the potty….

Sunday we Baptized Allison and she looked so beautiful. She’s 4 month’s old this week, I can’t believe how fast the time is going by. She’s sleeping through the night, most nights….sucking her thumb…..rolling onto her belly from her back and today she rolled back onto her back from her belly. She’s getting so big so fast, I just wish I could slow it down!!! This week she’ll also be starting rice cereal. OH MY my baby is getting so big!!!

While in Agawam over the weekend, we visited with Chris (hi Chris) and her dogs. She’s got two great dogs who are so well trained (great job Chris!) and the girls absolutely LOVED them and they were so brave. We will get a dog someday (yes we will Steve) but not for a while yet. But it was nice to know the girls will do so well when that day comes. Holly even feed the Jake a snack! She loved it!!Allison had June with her, of course.They were trying very hard to get the dogs attention. I’m so excited. One of my layouts (of Holly of course) is in the Top 10 for a contest at Scrap Town. Now the member’s get to vote on the winner. I looked at all the layouts today and boy do I have competition. I don’t think my layout is the best one there, but I’m so excited for it to be there with the rest of them. You can take a look here . Holly and Allison really LOVE each other. Allison’s face just lights up when Holly walks into the room and she gets so excited. And whenever Allison wakes from a nap, Holly’s face lights up when she sees her. It’s so great to see how much they love each other. I’m sure this will change as they get older, but I’m just enjoying it for now. Here are some cute pictures I got of them together last week. Our little Princess Holly.
