That is Holly’s new phrase this week, “I can’t” and she means it, well at least she tries to. When I asked her to pick up her cheerios that spilled on the floor she said to me “I can’t”. When I told her it was time to take a bath she said to me “I can’t”. I hope! Holly is back to herself, like she’d never even been sick. I’m glad for that..I missed her little spirit running around the house talking on her phone, playing with her little people, dancing with dora. All that is back and more. Now we need to get Mommy back on the mend. I ended up catching what she had and was in bed Friday night when Steve got home. I spent the day in bed on Saturday and Sunday I was started to feel better. So far so good today. Now lets just hope that Steve doesn’t catch it. Tomorrow I plan on disinfecting the house to get rid of this bug. I just don’t have all my energy back today to do it….

Allison has discovered that she can get herself up onto the couch, Holly’s rocking chair, the Dora chairs (though she topples over in those quite often) and now she’s trying to get onto the dining room chairs. She can’t quite do it yet, but she’s trying. I helped her up yesterday morning and we sat together for a while. I was able to get some really cute pictures of her. She was still in her pajama’s but she looked adorable, of course. She grabbed the phone off the table and began pushing the buttons and ‘talking’ on the phone. She doesn’t really have any words yet, I have heard her say something that sounds like Hello a few times, but that doesn’t stop her from…

Today was Holly’s first day of her new preschool. She was VERY excited this morning and could not wait to get there. She got dressed right when she got up and was ready to go. We packed up her bag with the following items… Sunscreen Change of Cloths Blanket and Sheet Pillow Littlest Pet Shop Stuffed Penguin to sleep with during her nap And then we were out the door. I completely forgot to take a picture outside the front door, do you believe that! I will take one when we come home before going in the house so I’ll have it for the scrapbook. Steve took a trip earlier in the month and Jodi and Little David stayed with us for a few days. The kids had so much fun, even Allison! David and Holly are at a great age and they love to pretend and it was just a fun time. I scrapbooked a few pages from their visit…. When I dressed the girls one day I happened to but them both in red, I didn’t plan that but, when Jodi saw what they were wearing, she decided to put David also in red so they all matched. She lined them up on the couch to take a picture because they looked so cute! She jokingly said to me “hey we should go have their picture taken somewhere”….
