Sisters playing…..

Holly received a LOT of gifts for Christmas but we haven’t opened everything up just yet. I’m pulling things out as needed. Well yesterday she needed something different to play with so I opened her new AquaDoodle. It’s like the MagnaDoodle only you use water and there is NO MESS AT ALL. Well she absolutely LOVED IT! (Thanks Cuozzo Cousins!). She sat there for about 45 mins (which is a long time in toddler land) and just wrote and stamped her little heart out. The mat is made with special material that turns blue when anything wet hits it and then disappears when it drys. It’s never ending fun. I was so happy she enjoyed it so much. No picture with Santa yesterday. That’s ok, i really didn’t expect that she would but it was worth a try. She did enjoy seeing him at first glimpse, then lost interest and just wanted to see the balls on the christmas trees (she’s obsessed with anything round!). But we tried and if I can get to the mall again next week, I’ll try again. I’m not going to push it. She’s never had her picture taken with Santa yet, but someday she will I’m sure. She received a christmas gift from my husband’s aunt and uncle this past weekend. They bought her a dora table and chairs. She LOVED IT!!! We have it set up in our TV/Playroom right now and hope to move it…

I’m so excited!!!!! Finally one of my scrapbook pages is going to be published!!!! Last week Memory Makers magazine emailed me that they were going to feature one of my pages in their online newsletter and I was VERY excited about that. Well this week Scrapbook Trends emailed me and they want to PUBLISH one of my layouts in their December Issue!!!!! I was so excited. I screamed for Steve and he thought something happened to Holly. He laughed at me as I jumped up and down squeeling like a pig I was so excited!!!!! The best part of it is it’s a layout with me and Holly in it, which makes it even more special. We went on Monday to The Picture People to have Holly’s Official Easter picture taken. I’d do it myself but I can’t get her to look at the camera anymore. I also don’t have a place to take it without stuff in the background so off to The Picture People we go. The last time we were there was on her 1st Birthday. The thing about them is that the kids can stand up. She started walking at 9 months so by 1 year she was running and I knew she wouldn’t sit for a picture. Holly is turning into a big girl right before our eyes. Just about everything baby about her has disappeared. Before we know it…………Nope I won’t even go there! LOL She’s been battling a cough the past few days so we’ve been giving her lots of medicine. She’s such a BIG girl now that she can have he medicine in the little dosing cup and drink it all by herself. I’m so proud of her every time I watch her drink it all up. We call it special juicy so she’ll drink it and usually she’ll say to me “yum yum special juicy good!”. Oh how I love her!!! Here are some pictures of her drinking her ‘special juicy’. Enjoy………….

Jodi and David spent a few days with us while Steve was on his trip. We had a really nice time and the kids were really excited to see each other. David and Holly decided that they were going to get married and they did. They are now friends forever. It was cute. Notice Holly had on her high heals and Jodi did her hair. We had a ‘fake’ ceremony and everything. The shared a hug, not a kiss. We have many years before the kisses start, I hope! They were just too cute and had a lot of fun at the ‘wedding’.
