We spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post.

My mom went to Italy last month – alone! I’m so proud of her. She had a great time but was very homesick too, which I figured she would be but I’m so glad she went because she has a lot of family there. She had fun shopping and bought the girls these really pretty dresses….. This picture was taken outside Allison’s school the day before her last day. It was the best smile I was going to get!
Holly’s First Communion Holly made her first communion this weekend and she looked absolutely beautiful. She told me after she got dressed that she felt like she was getting married. After her saying that I couldn’t keep that thought out of my head and when we were in church I thought of it and had even more tears in my eyes. Before we know it, we’ll be back there with her in a white dress again. But the ceremony was beautiful and I love the new church we belong too. Holly also did a little reading and she did so awesome. I have a new babysitter that comes over on Mondays and Fridays for a few hours in the morning to play with Allison while I get a little work done. Her name is Katie and she is really nice and Allison loves her! They were playing one day and Allison pulled out her tools – she LOVES her tools! Katie made her an adorable tool belt. She used a regular belt and put all her tools on it. Allison absolutely loved it and she looked adorable, as usual.
This is what we have come too. It’s cute and sad all at once, don’t you think? Of course this picture was posed because when they all get together they don’t play with their electronics but we thought it would be a cute picture to have to represent how the kids mimic their parents. Notice that Allison’s iPod has a case that matches her dress – well it doesn’t just match her dress, it matches everything that she loves in the world – ZEBRAS! Since we became parents, Steve has always given the girls a good night hug in kiss once they were in bed. It’s just something he always made sure he did. It sounds trivial, but it was important to him to kiss them good night and remind them how much he loved them. HE LOVED THEM SO MUCH! Tonight the girls said good night to daddy for the last time at home. Tomorrow Steve will be transferred to a Hospice Home where he can be cared for by people who can make him more comfortable than we can here.
