We spent the weekend at my parents while Steve was traveling and before we left I wanted to leave some cute pictures of the girls on my mother’s camera. They were so silly. The camera settings were off at first so some of them are blurry but they were too cute to not post.

My cousin Mia turned 50 this month and Danielle hosted a little birthday party at Twin Oaks. She had no idea and was very surprised (and happy!) when she arrived and realized she wasn’t having dinner with just Danielle. We had a nice dinner and it was good to be together as a family. It was also a great opportunity to get a picture of all the ‘girl’ cousins since they’ve all grown so much. I look at Danielle, Stephanie and Alyssa and I remember the days they were born, as if it were yesterday. And then I laugh at myself thinking I must be old because that’s what old people say when they see kids! But it’s true – they are all grown up…
It’s been two years since I’ve updated this blog. My other blog KouponKaren.com took off like crazy so this sort of got pushed to the back burner AND Facebook is so much easier to update with pictures of the kids and what we’ve been up too. But I have all this stuff here, just sitting in space, of them when they were babies so I will be updating this from time to time. Holly has gone through a few coats this winter. The one she had from last year that fortunately still fit her, was taken from Gymnastics (I’m sure by accident) and never returned. Then I bought her a nice one at JCPenny which she didn’t like but she had to wear anyways. And then she got a new one for her birthday that she liked better. In the end she didn’t like either one of them and conveniently broke the zipper on one of them. LOL I think these kids sometimes are smarter than me. While I was in California for the premiere of PLANES, I had a chance to visit the Disney store. It was so beautiful and I love walking through that store. We used to have one at the Warwick Mall but after the flood a few years ago, they never came back to the mall. So the closest one is at the Emerald Square mall. When I told Holly and Allison that I went to the Disney Store while in California, they asked if we could go to one someday before the summer was over. Of course I said yes. Tonight was Holly’s 2nd Father Daughter dance and she has been waiting for this night. Not only is it a night for her and daddy, but it’s the last night it will be just her and daddy as Allison will be in Kindergarten next year and will be attending with them. So it was a special night for Holly and Daddy. It was also a special night for Allison as she got to go on a date with Mommy! We went to dinner at Chili’s which is her favorite place to go to.
