They finally came today to fix the holes in the ceiling, the chimney and finish taking up the rug downstairs. In case you don’t remember, a week before Allison was born, we had a bad rain storm and not only did water come into the basement but it came through our dining room ceiling too. It was not a fun time for us. But now the ceiling is fixed and the walls are freshly painted and they aren’t white anymore. They are actually a light greenish/yellow called Spring Blossom. I received my new camera the week before the wedding so all the pictures I took were with that and I love it. It’s very similar to my old camera but it’s a newer version so somethings were improved and they changed the way some things worked so I’m still learning. But I am very happy with the pictures it took. Glad I had to get a new one. A few people have asked me how I made money to buy the camera. Well some of you know that I’ve become very frugal and save a LOT of money when I go shopping and I really enjoy taking surveys and doing mystery shopping. Another day, another necklace (she previous post). Oh and she likes to look at the picture after I take it so she’s reaching for the camera saying “I see I see I see” then she looks at herself and says “Allison” only it doesn’t come out that clearly but she’s trying. She’s so cute!

Well believe it or not but baby #2 will be here sooner than we think!! When I think of the timeline and the things we still have to do before it’s arrival, I realize how little time we really do have left. Got to get moving! We go again tomorrow for our big ultrasound where they see everything, including what the sex of the baby is. We are hoping that this time the baby cooperates much better and we can find out that everything is looking good and if we are painting the room blue or yellow. Holly received a LOT of gifts for Christmas but we haven’t opened everything up just yet. I’m pulling things out as needed. Well yesterday she needed something different to play with so I opened her new AquaDoodle. It’s like the MagnaDoodle only you use water and there is NO MESS AT ALL. Well she absolutely LOVED IT! (Thanks Cuozzo Cousins!). She sat there for about 45 mins (which is a long time in toddler land) and just wrote and stamped her little heart out. The mat is made with special material that turns blue when anything wet hits it and then disappears when it drys. It’s never ending fun. I was so happy she enjoyed it so much.
