Happy Birthday to me…..

I know we aren’t Irish…but still it’s a day to celebrate, right? Well actually the only way we are celebrating (again, because we aren’t Irish) is Holly is wearing Green today….. Obviously she isn’t looking very festive and happy in this picture, probably because I made her wear green and we aren’t Irish. But tough luck, I still get to pick out her cloths! I’m going to keep trying to get a better picture of her today and If I do, I’ll post it here later, so check back. She’s napping now, well she’s supposed to be napping but she’s in her cribbing addressing all of Ashaway (she’s talking very loud) about something but I’m not sure. Holly looks forward everyday for her daddy to come home from work. She’s usually waiting by the door to see his car pull up and then she gets all excited. They have their play time after dinner and boy do they play. I think sometimes Holly thinks she’s a boy and likes to rough house. It’s really cute watching them play. Holly has learned to use daddy as a human slide….it’s the funniest thing and they both enjoy it. I don’t hear daddy complaining. We had a great weekend. There were over 75 people here on Saturday and everyone had a great time. We had a HUGE pool party and a Surprise 60th Birthday Party for my father. We were lucky that the clouds stayed over head to shield us from the sun because other wise it would of been even hotter. This was the biggest party yet. The pool was full most of the day and even though we had Too Much food, it all seemed to go. A great day all around. Here are some pictures to highlight our day….

Last night I went and got a very much needed pedicure with one of my oldest friends Kimberly. When I say oldest I mean we’ve been friends for a LONG time, she’s not really older than me. We figured out this year will be 25 years we’ve been friends. That’s a LONG time and a lot of history. But anyways, we had a nice time and we got out toes painted together. I decided to paint my toes Blue. Yup you heard that right, I said blue. Why not right?? Not like anyone is really going to see them. I figured Holly would get a kick out of it and she did. (Steve thinks I’m crazy but that’s nothing new) Holly hasn’t noticed my toes…

Today was Holly’s first day at Preschool!!! We decided to send her this year for just 2 half days a week and I already know it was a great idea. The day we signed her up, she had so much fun with the other kids, plus her friend Jakob is in her class and I think both of them are happy about that. All day yesterday I kept telling her that she was going to start school tomorrow and Allison and I were going to leave her there for a little while and she was going to have a great time, and she was very excited for it. This morning we got up, got all 3 of us ready to go then I started taking…

Holly and Allison really LOVE each other. Allison’s face just lights up when Holly walks into the room and she gets so excited. And whenever Allison wakes from a nap, Holly’s face lights up when she sees her. It’s so great to see how much they love each other. I’m sure this will change as they get older, but I’m just enjoying it for now. Here are some cute pictures I got of them together last week. Our little Princess Holly.
