Brother or Sister…………….

Yesterday was my birthday and Holly picked some flowers outside for me. It was the best gift! She was so excited to give them to me. She even helped me put them in a vase and they are so pretty! It was kind of warm out yesterday so we set up the sprinkler and Holly had a blast! I tried to get some cute pictures of her, but she moves so fast it’s not that easy. And finally a picture of Holly and I……I have to get the picture from my mother of Holly, Allison and I, this is all I had on my camera.

We got a lot of snow yesterday. There is probably about 7 inches. That’s a lot to shovel. But my man did the job and he’s now exhausted! He did really good since we need room to put a few cars this coming week for Christmas. We have a stone driveway (most of you know that) and we really hope to get it paved in 2010. As long as nothing else big breaks in the house in 2009.Holly was very excited to go outside again andonce Allison saw her out there, she wanted to go out too. Last Friday night Santa arrived in town on the local fire truck. I guess the reindeer aren’t ready to travel yet. After dinner we gathered with everyone else to await Santa’s arrival. This was the first time we were there to greet him so we had no idea what to expect. The girls were becoming impatient so we gave them so lollipops to buy some time and it worked, very well. When Santa finally arrived he began to visit the children in the crowd but unfortunately we were in the wrong spot. I’m so excited!!!!! Finally one of my scrapbook pages is going to be published!!!! Last week Memory Makers magazine emailed me that they were going to feature one of my pages in their online newsletter and I was VERY excited about that. Well this week Scrapbook Trends emailed me and they want to PUBLISH one of my layouts in their December Issue!!!!! I was so excited. I screamed for Steve and he thought something happened to Holly. He laughed at me as I jumped up and down squeeling like a pig I was so excited!!!!! The best part of it is it’s a layout with me and Holly in it, which makes it even more special. Holly was enjoying some blueberries this weekend, but it got pretty messy so we moved to the highchair. She had a blue mouth and blue fingers, she looks so cute! I took some pictures of her and she was being so silly. She’s a happy girl even when she’s blue!

Holly LOVES the pool this year. Last year she never got in it, but this year she’d be in there everyday if she could. Her and Steve were swimming the other day and I got a video of them. She was playing pretend and daddy was a monster. She’s so cute. Enjoy!
