And Baby makes FOUR!!!!!

We will be a complete family of FOUR in April!!! The newest edition to the Wilmes Family will arrive the end of April and we couldn’t be happier. Today was our first doctor’s appointment and we had an ultrasound and was able to see little Baby W for the first time. It’s little arms and legs were moving around like crazy. A very active baby, guess this one will be just like Holly!! It was so great to see the baby and now it feels so much more real, even though my belly has already begun to grow, this just reassures me that everything is going well.

Jodi here… I spoke with Karen this morning and everyone is doing well. I read to her all the well wishes that everyone posted to her. Thank You! Kid’s Today and Technology

This is what we have come too.  It’s cute and sad all at once, don’t you think?  Of course this picture was posed because when they all get together they don’t play with their electronics but we thought it would be a cute picture to have to represent how the kids mimic their parents. “Girlie” Cousins

My cousin Mia turned 50 this month and Danielle hosted a little birthday party at Twin Oaks.  She had no idea and was very surprised (and happy!) when she arrived and realized she wasn’t having dinner with just Danielle. We had a nice dinner and it was good to be together as a family.  It was also a great opportunity to get a picture of all the ‘girl’ cousins since they’ve all grown so much.  I look at Danielle, Stephanie and Alyssa and I remember the days they were born, as if it were yesterday. My Baby is 10 Today!

Happy 10th Birthday to my baby girl Allison. I can’t believe she’s 10! I’m so proud of the person she has become. She’s a super smart, loving, empathetic, fun kid that loves gymnastics, makeup, music, MATH and ZEBRAs! I love her imagination and how much she wants to be just like me. The older she gets the more she looks like her daddy and while she’d rather look like me, I’m so glad to have a glimpse of him everyday. I love her to the moon and back and so did her daddy!!! Day One of Spring Break School Vacation {Shopping}

  We are on school vacation this week and I promised the girls we’d do at least one fun thing a day but I do still have to work.  They love going to the mall, well Holly does (Allison prefers to not walk around too much) and they had some Easter money burning a hole in their pockets so we had to go spend it! Plus I needed to go to the Cox Cable store in the mall so it worked out well. Allison The Snow Princess

Allison still loves Dora.  She doesn’t watch the show too much, but she loves Dora’s books.  She has a pile of them sitting in her bed that she reads to Eeka at night.  She knows most of the stories herself now after hearing them so much.  I love listening to her ‘read’ the stories because she is right on with so many of the details. Today we were in Job Lot and we went by the kids book aisle.  I noticed some Dora books and went through them all to see what she had and didn’t have.  We ended up getting 6 more but they were only $1.00 each so why not!
