Snow Day!!!

I’ve been told I am a bad blogger so this post is out of guilt for not blogging for over a week!!! (Hi KIM). It’s been busy with the long weekend, trying to get things done and Holly’s been fighting a cough and up at night for a little bit so her and I have not had a full nights rest for 3 nights. Hopefully she’ll be better soon. Steve’s been fighting a cold and it’s just about gone, and luckily I’ve been feeling pretty good. Now that Holly is moved into her new room, we can start working on the nursery. I defiantly want to change the theme. I need something different because I’ve been looking at Holly’s room for almost 3 years. Change is good. We decided (well I guess really I decided) to paint the nursery yellow. I’ve been wanting a yellow room in my house and since my husband really isn’t into painting the rest of the house, why not have my yellow in the nursery. It’s been a while since I sat down and did some scrapbooking, I just haven’t had the time. This past Saturday, Jodi and I spent the day together scrapbooking and I got a LOT done. Then Sunday afternoon I sat down and did a few more. It felt so good to get back in the groove again and I can’t wait to do more. I’m hoping to get some more time this week. This past Saturday was my oldest nephew Jonathan’s Birthday Party. He turned 8 today. I can’t believe it!!!! Happy Birthday Jonathan!!!! At his party, the kids made Chocolate Pizza’s. What a cute idea and boy did they all LOVE IT!! Even Holly, not even being 2, enjoyed it. She didn’t know right away what to do, but she caught on really fast. She mostly enjoyed tasting all the different candies and the frosting. I got lots of cute pictures of her and decided to do a layout already! Poor thing has a fever and has been vomiting. First time for this to happen, not bad since she’s 16 months old. She went down for both naps very early today so I know she’s not herself. Very listless too. Poor thing. I wish it was me. I hope this doesn’t last all week.
